The Jays problems are a lot higher than Schneider
    It starts with Shapiro
He runs the Jays like a small market team
He ran Alex Anthopouls and John Gibbons out of town
He wouldn't pay David Price even though he said publicly that he wanted to stay in Toronto
Sure he's made the ballpark look better, but the shine will soon wear off of that and with a poor team on the field fans are going to soon stop showing up
And Shapiro will be the biggest reason why

Schnieder and Atkins should have been gone last year. they are not only losing games but fans also. Why would Schnieder play Springer and Turner when Barger and Davis Schnieder and Varshuo and Clementes sit on the bench.

Playing the kids looks like you're punting on the season, even though doing so will lead to more wins.

He can only manage the team put together by management

As long as fans are filling the stadium and jersey sales are solid, I wouldn't expect any significant chanes.

Not really seeing how he is responsible for the awful bullpen he was provided with, the decision of some rookie to take roids, and so on. How the hell can he be held to account for the constant problem created by the front office? That is just silly.

The team has not met or exceeded expectations since Schneider took over the team. In Sports we measure success by wins and losses. This cannot be an easy ride for Schneider, his coaches, the players and all their families.

Shapiro destroyed the team and destroyed SkyDome.
Shapiro took a homerun park and turned into a singles park.
He took a lower bowl with no obstructed view seating and turned it into a massive obstructed view lower bowl.

Firing Schneider won't help the Blue Jays any more than firing Charlie Montoyo did. The team has decent pitching, excellent defence and good team speed. The problem, and has been for several years, is that they have good hitters who go on very prolonged slumps--Bichette, Chapman, Vladdy, Springer. Slumps and streaks are part of baseball, it's such a technical game. But helping players break out of slumps early is what hitting coaches are paid to do.

You are delusional!! Saying this is on hitting and pitching coaches!??!? This is on the top! Mark sharpio and Ross atkins.. they didn't nothing in the off-season to address the hitting that was a concern since last year. We have and always will play in the toughest division I'm baseball.... we haven't won a playoff game in over a decade...please don't accept this...

@@lionseatfirstsportsent5971 Of course, they (Shapiro/Atkins) hired the hitting coach. It's the same with the training staff. The Jays have a history of preventable injuries (e.g., calf muscle tears). A single two minute stretch at the right time on a regular basis prevents this traumatic injury, but players must just have a training staff they believe in because most players never experience this injury until their middle-late twenties. Once it occurs, it tends to recur because of scar tissue. Advance prevention is key. This injury cost the Jays a World Series appearance in the playoff with Texas back when Bautista and Encarnacion were in town, when their only hot leftie in the pen went down.
