- In this video, you will see a rare opportunity the Crystal Collector came into to be able to find wavellite crystals in Arkansas. This is a private claim owned by Avant Mining in Arkansas.
The Crystal Collector was and is contracted out to dig this rare mineral out for the owner.
If you're interested in minerals then be sure to watch this video! We'll discuss the location, the crystals and the opportunity in detail. It's a rare chance you don't want to miss, so be sure to subscribe now!
At first I thought it was a fungus or some kind of mold that developed on the rock. Never heard of Wavellite before. Really nice pieces.
Thats the only thing can hurt Superman😅😅😅
Oh yeah! Does look like Kryptonite!
Wow just wow. Blown away. Your a lucky man to be able to mine something like this
Whhhaaatt... I am a rock collector, but never even heard of that crazy cool crystal! Wow!!!
The pattern is similar to Malachite after polished
I love it. Found some in crushed gravel in a parking lot in AR. Just little pieces but it's beautiful
Been living in poverty my entire life, finally made it out at 57. Bought two properties in Arkansas not even knowing anything about the minerals and gems here. Collected fossils my entire life. Going to start digging soon, if i just find one fossil like that on your truck full i will probably wet my pants.
I love this. The radial parts look like crop circles.
🙌🙌🙌
@@TheCrystalCollectorI wanna dig!
A new crystal for me. Fascinating what the earth produces. Thanks for teaching and giving us the thrill of your finds.
Okay those are beautiful. I'm an openly addicted rock hounder and I've never seen these before so thank you si very much for the introduction. I must say though, the whole video, I was saying out loud, "dude PLEASE tell me how and why they are formed."
Wavellite is a secondary mineral in the oxidation zone of low-grade metamorphic rocks, epithermal veins, and in phosphate-rich sedimentary deposits. It is known to occurs in association with crandallite and variscite.
Yes, I’m actually going to be working on a future video of these and talk about how they form is actually very interesting!!!
Parece um fungo 😳
If anybody liked this stuff you found that it’s super expensive. I have it for cheaper prices. Cheapest

These are some of the most beautiful crystals ive seen 😮
Insane bubbles and radical radials. Epic indeed! Always love seeing sweet Matrix ❤
Is that the same Seth from Fisher Mountain Mine who likes to wear a sombrero? He was super cool! Brad was fun to talk to there as well! Keep up the awesome vids!!
Tis I!
I love rocks and crystals, and this is a new one on me! I even looked it up on Etsy to see if it's easily turned into jewelry. Apparently it's either super soft, super rare, or both, because on the jewelry end of things, I could only find wavellite pieces 25 mm in size that were either wrapped in wire or polished and cabbed (turned into cabochons and put in gold or silver settings), and they were not cheap. I mean, Etsy is what it's meant to be, but dang! I couldn't even find wavellite in round bead form for stringing. 😮 All the other wavellite specimens were raw, or tumbled and intended for artistic/crystal grid display purposes.
😂hello you
Well that's sick. Thanks for the content!
I just received my piece and it's beautiful! Thank you for the Amethyst bonus☺
Incredible man! Stoked for you 🙌
One this about Arkansas, the Ouachitas have some great mineral localities. Mt. Ida and the Magnet Cove areas in particular.
This is so cool! I hope I get to dig with you soon!
I'm still mad at myself for missing the quartz dig in Mt Ida. I'm literally right up the road and go to crystal vista frequently
Man you are living the dream my friend!! One day of digging and your gonna be there a few weeks😂😂😂 I wish
Super cool, now I have to put Arkansas on my list of places to visit.
Dude those are amazing!!!
Great content!!!
Thx for sharing!!!
Wow! That stuff is really cool! Never even heard of it before.
Great video Bryan can't wait to dig more with you! Keeping an eye on the poachers 😎
I'm not normally a big fan of the botryoidal stuff, but this is gorgeous. :)
One of my bucket list minerals!
Literally took my breath away and almost made me cry. Like wow!
That green is so beautiful I wonder what it looks like under a backlight also I was so glad when I saw matrix I get worried when I don't see him he looks like such a sweet boy such a good companion....
Woooow, that is incredible
Beautiful finds!

Love all your videos ;) Greetings from Down Under ;)
And give Matrix a scratch behind his ears for me
better to have green balls than blue balls! LOL!
Rather have blue healthy balls than green STD balls.😊
LOL
You don't even know how jealous I am that these specimens come out of the ground so easily and in such quantity. I hope that someday you will make a trip to Europe to get to know the most heavy matrix with my Wavellites 😂💚😘
✌️ man you got all the good spots....... Keep finding that good stuff....
I Love your Genuine Laugh!
Wow I have never seen anything like these before. I only wish I could come out and go digging with you!
It would be cool to have a private event here like yall did with the turqouise. Of course prices would have to be figured out but Id be down to pay. ✌ Is that ever going to happen again at the mona lisa mine? I missed the last one 😑
❤❤❤hello
Those are some cool looking rocks!!!
Whaaaatttt!! Those are awesome 🙏♥️
Wow, so great wavellite, with so beautiful color. Maybe I'll find them in a place in my homeland, so far only white and few found.

BRAD!!! YOU FOUND YOUR TRIBE!!! YOU ROCK!! LITERALLY!! Save me a piece!!
I’ve been to Arkansas, and dug wavellite and I found some good specimens, and I still have them. It was a real fun field trip with my hounding club.
Can you share the place you were allowed to dig? I'd love to take a trip somewhere to mine this. Wavelite has quickly become one of my favorites
Beautiful
I get excited from watching your videos. I found 2 beautiful large amethysts at Myrtle beach on the shore. Have you left any there? ❤❤

I just went to a crystal convention yesterday. I wish I was rich.
We have wavalight here in California to
Yayyyyy a new videooooooo 🔥🔥
I love the black radials. Or is it just a green that's so dark, that it looks black? Is that also considered wavellite?
Yes, they are just so dark green/blue that they kind of look black!! 💎🙌💎
@@TheCrystalCollector thank you. I received some super cool ones that had the black looking dials on the 2nd box I received. I'm still working on the 1st box. Now I want another one.
Hey Brian, I have a question for you. Have you made a video yet about the crazy lace agate mine in Summerville Georgia? I just talked with the mine owner recently and I'm planning on going there next month. Wondered if you've ever been there or not. The stuff is fantastic and so tremendously plentiful. Would like to get your opinion on the mine if you have been there yet.
It is awesome that you can just dig these right out of the ground! crazy haul
😂hello you
"beautiful green balls" leave shrek alone he is married man broski
Oops, didn’t know that place was off limits. This looks like the same pit that I stumbled into on one of my rockhounding trips
I live right down the street. Take me next time please
❤
The druzy ones🤩
Arkansas is crazy
Love the video. any tips on how to get access to these type of sites/digs
I have built relationships up with these mine owners for over a decade in most situations, that’s how I have gotten into these private areas. Every location is different, sometimes it just takes a few dollars
@@TheCrystalCollector I understand, thanks for the insight

This part got me laughing so hard
but anyways, thanks for the amazing content!

Ive always wanted to do something like this, either recreationallly or professionally... can someone tell me how to get started? Do I need some kind of certification, or do I just head out to the mountains and start looking?
Those specimens were amazing WWWWWWHHHHHHAAAAAATTTTTT ? ? ?
? Have you dug around in chambers county Alabama? My mom has 97 acres there and I want to dig some holes! You can come out there with me!
Yeah, YT showed 11:11 on the feed as the video length! 🥳
I’m confused how mineral rights work but I heard Avant owns all the wavelite now 🤷🏻♂️ I don’t know.
They own 2 Wavellite locations for the last 10 or 12 years.
Hello
What kind of mineral are the green balls
Can it be made into jewelry?
As much time you spend in Arkansas you might as well live there?
