California as one of the biggest economies don’t mean nothing if you live there and don’t make over 200k or more. In general only 18% -20% of American household make over $100k annually, the other 80% are suffering to take care of the family and bills. Cost of living in the US (no matter where you live)is very high at the moment

Your statistics is right. Even the 20% it various with race and gender. Only 6-10% of black men in America make 100K or more in a year. For combined household, about 6% of black household make 100K or more a year.
