dissociative identity disorder or aka multiple personality disorder is caused (mostly) due to extreme trauma at early childhood because thats the time a child starts developing its personality and if they are not given the right environment they can end up with multiple personality disorder, idk what is up with him but having DID due to "anxiety and depression" after reading comments from yt at THIS age is highly unlikely.
His videos are so disrespectful towards people who actually have to battle disorders like anxiety, depression or DID. Some people use these terms way too lightly nowadays which is why nobody believes people who actually need help.

Dissociative identity disorder, also known as multiple personality disorder, is a mental disorder characterized by at least 2 or more different personalities. At least 2 of these personalities regularly take the behavior completely over. The original personality often doest know about the other personalities, the personalities do sometimes know about the original personality and about each other. The personalities have different characters, have different pasts than the original personality, and sometimes look different than the original personality and other personalities. These personalities all can have different names. And the cause is believed due to childhood trauma (abuse in childhood.)

Depression and Anxiety, my depression began when I was in 9th standard, parents and teachers ki expectations and school mein classmates aur fake besties ka bully karna pagal kar raha tha. I thought my life was over, school jaate hue darr lagta tha, akele baithkar apne fake besties ko party karte hue dekhna mujhe baat baatpar insult karna. Bhot mushkil tha. But after some time I decided to kick my fear in the ass. I started to love myself. Covid is deadly but, covid gave me time to recover and now I'm in 12th standard and now I don't give a damn about anyone. I'm just happy with myself.Some times I took myself on a date because I know in the end no one is going to have my back😊 and I don't want to loose this new me

This affects them mostly because after a certain amount of time people will stop believing. The causes for this disorder are yet unknown but it can develop from any traumatic experience or feeling of loneliness. Yet the treatment is possible!✌🏻

It's a shame for people who 'support' mental health and then do stunts like this. It's not a joke. Poeple with DID(Dissociative Identity Disorder) can or could seriously harm themselves and/or people around them. 1000s of people suffer from this condition without being aware of it. Many people don't remember or know about their split personality. We have whole series on this disorder(Breathe 2) and how dangerous it really is. I feel sad for people like Gaurav who think it's fine to fake a mental illness for views. I hope he doesn't have to go through what people go through in their lives, his loved ones don't have to go through that. It's not a joke and I hope he understands that soon:)
