- 🎸 Experience the Return of Legends: AC/DC's Electrifying Comeback! 🎸
After a seven-year hiatus that left fans wondering if we'd ever witness their iconic riffs and electrifying screeches again, AC/DC made an unforgettable return to the stage at the Power Trip festival. Brian Johnson, the legendary frontman, graced the stage on the heels of his 76th birthday, surrounded by the rock gods we've missed for far too long.

Band Line Up:
Brian Johnson: Vocals
Angus Young: Lead Guitar
Stevie Young: Rhythm Guitar/Backing Vocals
Cliff William: Bass Guitar/Backing Vocals
Matt Laug: Drums
In 2016, Brian Johnson's hearing troubles threatened to silence the thunderous roar of AC/DC forever, leading to Axl Rose stepping in to complete their "Rock or Bust" tour. But a twist of fate, or perhaps divine intervention, guided Johnson to a CZcams discovery that resurrected his hearing, allowing the band to gift us with the epic "Power Up" album in 2020-a touching tribute to the late Malcolm Young.
As fate would have it, just when we thought the stage lights might dim permanently, COVID-19 put a temporary halt to AC/DC's live performances. That was until that magical night at Power Trip, where Brian Johnson asked the crowd, "How cool is this?" Thousands of devil horns illuminated the night, and the anticipation reached a fever pitch as they unleashed the legendary riff of "Back in Black," igniting a sonic explosion that shook the very core of rock 'n' roll.
Now, the question on every fan's mind remains: Is this AC/DC's triumphant return to the road? The band has been tight-lipped, but with the electrifying energy they brought to Power Trip, it's hard to believe they'll stay silent. The lineup boasts rock legends like Angus Young, Stevie Young, Cliff Williams, and the formidable Matt Laug, stepping in for Phil Rudd.
The fan fervor was undeniable, from devil horns to AC/DC merch flying off the shelves faster than a lightning strike. In fact, the line at the merch tent was so long it begged the question: Would someone miss AC/DC's epic performance while waiting for their cherished AC/DC hoodie?
But beyond the merchandise frenzy, AC/DC's performance proved one indisputable truth-they're still too damn good to hang up their guitars and retire. With members all in their 60s and 70s (except for the powerhouse drummer, Matt Laug, at 55), their dedication to their craft is awe-inspiring.
Their setlist, spanning a little over two hours, was a relentless assault of classics: "Thunderstruck," "Hells Bells," "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap," "Shoot to Thrill," each delivered with deafening volume and an irresistible blend of raw power and finesse. The Youngs' guitar work felt like they were scraping lightning from the sky, while Williams and Laug laid down grooves so tight, it was downright funky.
Brian Johnson's voice, though ravaged by time, delivered the screeches and unintelligible lyrics we've come to love-a signature sound that sent shivers down the spines of fans. AC/DC proved, without a shadow of a doubt, that they remain the champions of rock 'n' roll.
So, will the legends of rock grace us with more live performances? Only time will tell. But for now, we can relish in the sheer brilliance of AC/DC's epic comeback at the Power Trip festival, a testament to the eternal joy of a riff and a screech. 🤘🔥

Im 80 and i remember the old good times when i went for the 1st time to see them rock. Unforgetable moments
Lucky!!
Im 30 and too jealous 🔥🖤💀
hilarious
Saw them at 16 in 19😢79 for my first show. I thought. So this is rock n roll. I was correct. Then UFO came on and reinforced what great rock n roll sounds like. Let there be rock indeed.
I am 78, but they must be 100 by now....
They sound FUCKING GREAT!!!!!!!!
I was 74 years old when I saw them live for the first time. Now I'm 122 years old and was still rocking in the Pit at the PowerTrip
Make it happen
Awesome! Always nice to run across another vampire!! 🤘❤️
Indeed
Ti auguro di arrivare fino a 200❤
I am 92 and it was a amazing Show
Angus, the little engine that could is still rockin ! Brian putting the work sounding pretty good. Long live AC/DC !!!1
Couldn't agree more!
I hope this band never throw in the towel and keep rocking until the end of their days. They nearly 80 and still have the energy of a 40-50 year old. KEEP ROCKING OLD TIMER. ACDC IS the greatest band of all time

Thunderstruck was not on the Setlist ? :O
@@phillipbruesemeister Yes it was, and then some. But the old men's performances now unfortunately fall far short of what you think of when you think of AC/DC. They're too old and can't do it anymore. This is devastating, no question. But the truth. And a good friend should just tell them that.
@@Andreas-cm9hrthey are not like they used to but still great
No "No Man's Land"?! I'm actually stunned -- and sad -- that there wasn't more than one tune from Power Up.
ACDC hasn't played live since 2016 and it was a little rough starting out but Angus and Brian definitely got much better as the set went on. Hopefully they build off this and do one final big tour
I hope so!!
i'm hoping and praying! PLEASE! this can't be the end........?
I am such a mega fan.. OBVIOUSLY, THE PEEPS WERE WEREN'T THE DUE TO MEGA PRICES
@kathleenbray7775 did you have a stroke while typing that? Sht...
Didn't doctors tell Brian if he performed more he would go deaf? Maybe he is just ok with that at this point.
Can’t believe they still able to do an entire concert at their ages n still rock! It amazes me!!!! It Can’t be easy
That's why they're the best rock band ever
i know i couldnt do it and im only 27
I’m 95, in a small nursing home in rural MN, and I still love tapping me toes to da boys!
Respect to you, sir. Rock on!
God bless u sir!
All the best to you.
quit lying u aint 90 aint no 90 yr old even know how to get this far on a cell yet turn it on and type.😂😂😂 btw im 112 myself
Drummer are giving them so much power, the band are sounding so good, guitar tones are amazing, thank you for posting!
No problem!
so glad they chose someone who sounds close to phil instead of chris
That’s the benefit of having a drummer with proper wind 🚭
Dude this is the best quality video I’ve seen of AC/DCs set! So glad you posted this!
Wow, thanks!
I agree, the video and sound quality are very good - thank you for posting this!
you need to see an eye dr!
river plate is the best show
I'm impressed with Matt Laug here. He's not rushing the beat, incredibly steady. Well done, Matt !
Man u can tell when Brian has his breath, hes still got it! Just gets a little more tired with age.. i mean hed close to 80 so its honestly absolutely incredible to hear him sing this well lol... unbelievable lol.. The greatest Rock N Roll band ever..
I was impressed
Hey now, he's only 76.
and it was his first show back in years.
@@DrSprigsindeed. His first live show since he had to quit touring in the middle of the Rock Or Bust Tour
He sure hasn't the vocal power he had on Back in Black or The Razor's Edge, but for his age he is still damn good
Almost 80 and still the one BRIAAAAN 💪🔥🤘🤘🤘🤘
I can only hope I am this good at almost 80!
I realize all of our heroes eventually get old....seven or so years ago Brian could still hit all the notes...like he hadn't aged at all...now it seems he is on the downswing. Still the undisputed kings of rock and roll.
They did have a bad flu. A few of their songs they actually played in standard tuning for some reason. So that adds to the struggle.
That's the first concert they ever changed tuning. It's always been in standard, or half a step down, or slightly below standard.
As an Aussie, I've been following AC/DC since the 70's. They never fail to please. Always a high standard. To AC/DC & Live Rock Concerts, keep up the good work.
Rock on!
I hate pointing this out to Aussies but the band are just as much British as Aussie… mostly born in the U.K., past members have been English and of course Brian is English. But we let you Aussies say it cos, well, let’s face it, apart from Inxs, there’s little else. Fair dinkum. Lol
@@adamstar7516, ever heard of Cold Chisel?
I'm Australian in my heart!
@@adamstar7516 Would be justified remark if you show yourself too, also this avatar looks historical.
Super mamalon rock 80 ADC ✌️ arriba saludos desde México,
To everyone that said Brian's voice is gone, dude is almost 80 and still delivered. The only rock star that can perform like this in this age beside Brian that I can think of is Roger Daltrey, and that's it. Most of them can't even walk properly.
When I get to his age all I can think of doing is sitting by the fire in my slippers! Kudos.
McCartney be kicking off some jams too. That song he did with surviving members of Nirvana was amazing
Mick Jagger: “Hold my beer please”
Jick Magger
Paul McCartney
…meh, i agree.
Мик Джаггер ещё выступает и с женой 1987г ребенка воспитывает😂
Por favor,se nos levantan los jovenes,de 90 y pico,años,de la tumba,de alegria😂😂😂😂,sois magnificos,la hostia
AC/DC is like a very fine bottle of wine. They get better and better with age.🤘🤘🤘
Agreed!
With all love and huge respect for them....but no, they aren't getting better with age at all
Or a fine bottle of wine that's become uncorked and turned to vinegar.
Awesome!! After 7 years silence Masters are back, Live! Best Band in the Universe! Seen them 16 times live in 7 different countries, allways epic gigs! 3 times with Axl, but Brian is awesome still at age 76! He´s the Man!!
Angus! The last standing! Angus and Gibson SG! Match made in heaven!
You are indeed a superfan!
I'm Japanese freshman.I wanna go to see ACDC show someday!!!!Because I have listened their rock when I was a year old!!!
Matt very obviously did his homework and got a real sense for Phil's playing. Major props to him for respecting what Phil brought (brings) to the band. I think he was, by far, the best substitute drummer AC/DC has had. But, NOBODY can make a crowd bounce and sway like Mr. Phil Rudd,
Agreed Matt did very well. I am impressed.
Matt is a big fan of Phil's drumming & it shows here
So much so I thought it was Phil until I double checked lol
Phil is a garbage drummer who just does the same half-time beat every song. Anyone can do it. He's no Jay Weinberg, or Gene Hoglan. Dude is trash. AC/DC sucks too.
I was sixteen when I saw ACDC....Back in Black Tour...now I'm a hundred and two and still rocking out!
Might as well!
your math isn't mathin'
Actually I'm only 59 years young.@@Botond2
I’d seen then 2 or 3 times by the time I was 21 and I rocked up to the Brixton Academy in London to be in the Thunderstruck video. One of the best days of my life. I had hair down to my ass and they’d asked me if I’d shave it off for the Who Made Who video and I said no bloody way!!! Lol I ended up going home with the rubber dress girl who was in front of me that day. Fantastic times. 😎
Old bastard....me also 59 😀@@gordorr9259
Hearing Riff Raff was amazing. Angus is playing like a 17 year old, not someone who's almost 70
Agreed!
One of the best Riff ever made
If he was 17, he would jump around doring the A chord breakdown after the solo. But overall this solo is better performed than some other Riff Raff ones.
Still, IMO, the greatest rock guitarist ever. However, and don't hate me for this, he's slowed down and it looks funny to see him with white hair.
@@barrydunn682I mean it’s to be expected he’d slow down. Dude is hitting 70. Still played well for his age.
Greatest band of all time
i concur.
I believe that somewhere in the world, there are people who feel the same emotions that I feel when I listen to masterpieces like this song.
I put myself on a strict 12 picture limit for my first concert ever seeing them. 3 days later for my second however I went crazy. How the hell you recorded this for all us to enjoy and not simply put the phone away to enjoy it for yourself… you are the hero we all needed.
So kind 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
weird huh. Holds up the phone for almost 2 hours instead of enjoying the show to the max. weird
@@barkatthemoonlunatic1715let’s thank him’
Cell phone suck recording concerts I wish we never invented them. The internet streaming recording with cell phones it's ruined the industry of recording albums. And then people see City videos of people recording with cell phones and they instantly say they suck when in fact they sound good it's just a shity cell phones that make them sound so bad. What happened to the good old days when they did pro shot footage on just about every concert. Myself personally if it's not a pro shot video and I start watching it and it's done with a cell phone I immediately shut it off.
🖕 Technology it's going to be the end of us all.
@@user-bd5iw7sx2w I would agree. But not going to lie. This was a decent sound quality. It gives me hope for them going on tour one more time
I saw AC/DC 7 times in the 80's and 40 years later they're still Rocking it out? F*cking amazing.
Siento mucha ternura y admiración! Son los mejores sin duda!
Their my all time favorite. I don't care if they play at the nursing home I love it.
Thank you, sir! The Stones are doing it too..Jagger at 80 years old!! Amazing to all of them!
best band ever... all my empathy to brian johnson!!! rock on from brazil, buddies!!!!
Angus has *still* got it! :) He's the best , most passionate, energetic, intense, focused guitar player to ever walk this Earth! :)
Thank you so much for recording this and sharing it with those of us who couldn't be there. I loved every second. So great to see them playing live again and in their 50th year. My favourite band. Fabulous stuff!
Our pleasure!
Nobody and I mean nobody has played for so long with so many awesome bad ass songs. AC/DC #1 Period!! Still playing we salute you AC/DC WE SALUTE YOU!!!!

@LiveRockMusic No problem thanks for filming it.
Any possibility of uploading back in black again in a separate video?? This is the best recording from all i seen of the festival and it would be cool to have the full set like this
The best Tone in rock n roll. Malcolm and Angus are tone gods.
Agreed! Fantastic. Bon thanks you!
Brian still has the spirit. AC/DC can go a bit longer.
Too bad he ain't got the voice
@@westerling8436 You will wish you could do these things when you'll be 76 :D

Incredible to think that rock in it’s rawest, most basic form can still bring together so many people in one place!
They sounded outstanding. AC/DC has one more tour in them.
I was there! (Not that close though 🤭) but I literally didn’t stop jumping the whole concert! I almost cried of happiness 😅
I was almost on the front in the PIT, it was amazing!! This recording is amazing! Thank you so much for this, it makes me live it again
Even at 68..no body can do the Duck 🦆 walk like Angus!! AC/DC Forever 👊🏼👊🏼

Ah oui!!!!!
Ils sont extraordinaires et c est une thérapie pour moi 🎉🎉🎉🎉🔔🎸
This is really well filmed! Many thanks!
Thanks for the compliment😎
The drummer is fantastic
AC/DC what an amazing band! They get older but they still can do it and have it!
1 great song, no, there are plenty of it! An outstanding setlist. Strong songs with awesome statics.
How good sound here at PowerTrip "Hells Bells, Shoot to Thrill, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Sin City...." and many others? Raw - Rock'n'Roll pure. They put a lot of dirt into the songs.
Brian's voice has have and seen better days, but he deserves big respect for wanting to go on stage and doing a long and hard show.
Angus is better than for example 45 years ago. He just goes on and on and on.
Also thanks to Stevie, Cliff & Matt. You are without a doubt the greatest Rock'n'Roll band in the world. Malcom is so proud of you!
ACDC REBORN!!
It's alive!!
Lets not forget Steven Tyler still has a strong unbelievable vocals! Infact when AC/DC Was inducted at the Rockin Roll Hall of Fame' Steven Tyler step in to sing with Brian johnson singing (Shook me all night long!) Rockin n still kickin ass!😢

It brings tears to my eyes. They still sound great. I'm 55 and still rockin' to the oldies. They definitely brought the power.
Although we are not lucky to watch a concert of

And thank you for the amazing footage.
The most important thing is still there, the AC/DC power and energy is stil there
I can only feel respect for these legends at their age and they still rock

AC/DC is going out rocking. As they should. One of the few bands that can pull it off. Even if Brian doesn't sound as good or Angus' playing is a bit sloppy, this band knows nothing but rocking the house and they'll do it till the day they're gone. AC/DC will always be my favorite band
Awesome mate, epic footage. Thank you for uploading. Having seen them a dozen times in the UK, that genuinely gave me goosebumps. They've still got it. Praying for a tour of sorts.

Considering their age this was a superb performance. I almost decided to get tickets all the way from Denmark. I refused to see them live without Brian last time they were in our country in 2016, although I could hear Axl sounded pretty okay from my balcony. Hope they come to Europe again soon, one last time.
I love Angus
