    I think the HS02 actually reclocks and regenerates the data signal, according to a RME post on ASR. It adds a latency (0.29μs), so it can't be fully transparent. Being a galvanic isolator it has to regenerate both power and signal from the source. The ADuM4166 isolator chip retimes the high speed data to a external clock or crystal input and 'can' reduce jitter, according to its datasheet.

    Dc/Dc in PC has Y1 capacitor between secondary to primary, this Y1 capacitor is needed to pass LVD standard , BUT at the same time make headache if you want floating system , such as PC connected to DAC . Especially if you have metal enclosure. So such device break the path of Y1 and also ground loop . I use myself belcanto reflink which is inbuilt galvanic isolated USB interface , it has circuit from analog device.

    Cool, I'm Russian Orthodox and those families that follow the religion have it pretty simple in picking names. When a baby is born, they look at a few saints that are commemorated during that time and get to choose the name from their names - names of the saints (male/female). So I'm Ivan and was born on January 11 and got the name chosen by my parents that picked it from John (Ivan) of Kronstadt that was being commemorated on January 2nd. ;) Pretty cool I think, and you can't blame anyone for your name, it's chosen by religion ;) Btw, I love my name! ;))
    I love your channel and the way you describe the audio, as we can't really experience it through the video. If there's anyway you could include links to Amazon product pages with your affiliation, it would yield many more purchases I'm sure. As I have to google the products anyway and go to Amazon to buy them, as that's where most of us in North America shop online. It's just easier that way, everyone already has an account with their wallet/shipping info saved and products get delivered in a day or two with easy 30 day returns. Hope that's available for you to set up.
    This is the process I go through on anyone's video without an Amazon affiliation link: I click the link, it's a site I'm not familiar with and besides look at pictures and maybe specs I have to go back to the video, select the product name in the video title, right click and select search on google, then click the 1st/2nd link that takes me to Amazon where I make the purchase. If Google made affiliation links like that, they'd be even more rich ;) Don't miss out on these affiliation sales!

    In Canada and US the tendency is to shorten a person's name if it is unpronounceable or simply has too many syllables. In other words, we come up with nicknames for each other, which are usually short and to the point. In your case, what shall we use as a nickname? "Serb"? "Serbi"?

  • @gilko61
    @gilko61 Před rokem +2

    You got a lot of comments quick on this one. You might remember when I greeted you in Serbian the other day with the DO300 thing. I'm pleased that I nailed it on Serbian. All the Slavic languages sound a lot alike to me, and I rarely hear them spoken at all in Texas. Go figure.
    But I had a Serbian friend here in the US a while back, and you and he sound very similar.
    The name thing made me think to tell you this overly long comment but I though you might find it funny. The guy's name was Predrag Radavanovíc, that last suffix the same as yours. Maybe "son of" or something similar. Anyway, Radavanovílíc is quite easy to say quickly, but Predrag, well, you know, the "r" in the throat thing.. He wouldn't tell folks his name because of the horrible bastardizations of pronunciation and laughs it could and usually would produce. Out of respect, I decided to make a point to learn to pronounce it, and I have to tell you, it's still hard for me to say even after years of practice.
    Given this interest in names and language in general, it will come as no surprise that I looked up the pronunciation and etymology of your name, but I have to tell you that the AI thing pronounces each syllable correctly but fails to run the 3 together.
    OK, so that's the end of my ramblings. Hope you found it amusing. Everyone else is probably annoyed, but hey, I've got nothing better to do.....

    • @iiWiReviews
      @iiWiReviews  Před rokem

      The "ic" ending is the most common ending for surnames and the form really stems from "son of the"... But that was much before my time, now it's simply passed from parents to children. And, yes, Predrag is a very strong sounding name that might be even more difficult to pronounce for Anglo-Saxon speakers. 🙂
