Du using the lvl 2 activation screen freeze to gain charge for the game winning flash kick was some galaxy brain shit.
It took me a while to understand what happened. Didn't know you could charge during that animation
It's just his VTrigger 1 in SFV you could always use the activation to react to something like this.
Du is a specialist when it comes to that. I remember a match against Tokido in SFV where he used Akumas VT activation freeze frames to charge his own flash kick while he was standing. Absolute genius.
As a guile main this is pretty standard guile tech. You’re always charging unless you’re advancing.

Every time Du feels a bit washed to me, he pulls some shit like that lol.
