regarding the medical conditions mentioned in this video
bart's friend probably had a hemothorax. i.e. blood leaking into the pleural cavity, which a space surrounding the lungs
sounds like he needed a chest drain to drain the blood out. i.e. a tube inserted into said cavity.
bart is right, he also needs his lung to "re-expand". its a problem if the lung doesn't re-expand, but hopefully it did.
joe probably has TMJ dysfunction. i.e. the joint that allows opening and closing the mouth. symptoms can range from pain to "lockjaw". the joint can also dislocate, which requires manipulation to put the joint back into the right place.

TMJ sucks. I had it for a several months and the sound that came from the joint scared the crap out of me. It sounds like something is snapping. I couldn’t fully open or chew hard :’( it healed on its own though (not sure how)
working in healthcare is one place where people feel like they know about your job more than you do.

I've only ever had one panic attack in my life and when it was happening I legit thought I was gonna end up in the hospital, didn't know what was happening. Heart rate up, can't breathe, intense pressure on my chest
I've only had it once too and it's pretty scary. I can't imagine having it everyday like others..
The fact that Steve thought of driving to a further hospital just for a better deal is a sad reality of the "for profit" incentive in the wealthiest country in the world.

Yes Steve you were having a Panic attack. I get them like once a week. It feels like a heart attack. They are usually trigger by caffeine or something you’re afraid of. I also get them because of acid reflux that triggers anxiety

I’m glad you took that man to the ED! There are so many different pathologies that have similar clinical manifestations. So it’s always better to be safe than sorry. Also, the field of chiropractics is entirely based on pseudoscience. You’re much better off going to PT/OT!!

I had iced coffee and then drank a pain reliever (Mefenamic Acid) right after. God. I felt like my heart was gonna burst out of my chest. Caffeine is one of those things that you know is bad for you but they purposely put it in food that you like.

Yeah, guys always want to drive ourselves. I was having pain that could have been a heart attack (it wasn't; really severe gastritis and some other stuff), and I was planning to get dressed and drive myself to the hospital.
Then I thought about the fact that my brother in law tried the same dumb shit a few weeks before when he had a heart attack.
I decided instead to call my sister to drive me. She lives a couple blocks away.
My brother in law lucked out because he was working out with some cops who overruled his judgement and called an ambulance.
Three stents and meds.
Be smart, ask for help and get to the hospital!

0:57 MY RESTING HEARTRATE IS 200+ beats per minute 😩 I’ve thought I was having a heart attack so many times that I went to the ER lolol. They’ve done EKGs, etc. and they’re never worried about it being so high 😅 so I feel like 130 is nothing. Or I’m just dying and nobody wants to tell me 🤣 it’s always above 200. While im sitting lolol. And I’m less than 100lbs, 5’4” so I’m not overweight either. I don’t get it.. nobody has ever been like, _”damn that’s high af!”_ I just always freak tf out over it 😅
