How to connect steering wheel control wire - VLine CarPlay® Nissan Infiniti 2008-2012 - NIS8VL2

When connecting GROM VLine VL2 CarPlay® Android Auto® system into select Nissan Infiniti vehicles 2008-2012 (NIS8VL2 model of VLine system), it is important to properly connect steering wheel control wire located on MCFNIS8 vehicle connecting cable.
The correct connection of this wire will ensure proper steering wheel operation of VLine VL2 system functions in your vehicle. WARNING: If you will connect this steering wheel control wire to a wrong wire on the vehicle main harness, it can cause the other functions of the stereo, such as backup camera, not to work correctly. Carefully review the video before attempting to connect the steering wheel control wire.
The steering wheel control wire connection is OPTIONAL, and only needed if you want to integrate the factory steering wheel buttons with VLine functions.
If you decide do not connect steering wheel control wire, make sure that you properly isolate it with the electrical tape.

The Black wire is ground and the Green wire is the Steering Wheel Control wire.
