Zoe actually wears a lot of make up that I don't think she needs. I noticed that as soon as she put her concealer on, she just looked as beautiful as always and needed nothing more :)

I've been looking up tutorials this week, but it's shocking how complicated even the "no makeup/everyday routine" routines are... it's a bit... discouraging :/. So many brushes, so much money, so much time and artistry... I don't have time every day for anything like this. Mascara, naff foundation, lipstick - go! :D.

Even so, it's not a simplistic routine! Surely you'd think that the daily routine makeup would be simple... not just in outcome, but in the technique to achieve it. Daily for me is the absolute basics, I haven't the time or the money to do the above.
Saying all that, it is interesting to see what others do. If that is what Zoella does, then good for her! It just surprised me, that's all! :D x

If anyone can cover up under eye bags with just concealer.
You do not have bad under eye circles. I can wear foundation, concealer and power and still have the fucking bags.
Exactly. "Bla bla bla my eye bags are so horrifying" girl you haven't seen eyebags once in your life. Discoloration that can be corrected with makeup is BLISS. Mine are just under eye cavities that can be seen even if I cover my face with a thick layer of paint or something, it's the shape of my skull+the distribution of tissue in the face that do this to me. They're invisible only if I'm wearing skincare under eye patches or something. It always bugs me so much when people with a perfectly smooth face complain about a tiny tad of darkened skin.
Look up "vitamin E and coconut oil under eye DIY" I have been using it and my under eye bags are close to nothing now (:

Zara Gleave from what i see your eyebrows are already perfect!! :) but dont over-pluck just pluck the hair thats growing out of the eyebrow area. and if you dont need to fill them in, you can use an eyebrow gel that holds them in place all day

Watching this back and it's amazing to see how confident Zoe seems to be on camera now (on her vlog channel) without makeup! It think it's such a good thing to show that people can look amazing and pretty with or without makeup and that each person should be confident whether they have lots of makeup or none at all and this is just one of the reasons I love Zoe :(

I love how I don't need makeup. It's too much of a bother. I wear eyeliner and mascara but that's just about it. My face doesn't get much blemishes or redness :) sort of like a family tradition :P

Not everyone wears makeup because they have blemishes. Personally I just go with eyeliner and mascara but some people do it because it's fun and it's just another way to express yourself. That's what my mom says when I refuse to wear eye shadow lol
