My husband and I had similar experience in around the same area, it was on the auspicious occasion of Eid… first few guys tried to sell something (looked like street vendors) and suddenly they came in group and started to push our car windows and open our car door by force, I got so scared, luckily our car was locked and my husband ran the vehicle in full speed then, I still don’t know what they wanted
