The creativity in this TED Talk was inspiring! Loved the message ♥️ thank you Zach King!
He is such an amazing storyteller!!!
I’m 41 and not only am I proud to say my childlike wonder never went anywhere - it has really come into its own, now that I have a young son to imagine along with me, and I with him. ✊🥰
you are a good mother, that sounds very great.
how amazing. i lost my childlike wonder at a young age, and i'm currently 15. this inspires me tbh
Yes 😊
_Imagination starts with empathy, but it definitely doesn't end there:_
😊
Creativity level always goes up. Legendary Zach king 💯💯
"All great contributors in all fields and endeavors must at some point come to terms with the reality and the fact that what they are giving comes from beyond them, that they themselves are a medium, a messenger and a provider for something greater from beyond themselves. This is the reality of their creativity."
From one of my favorite book: Wisdom from the Greater Community by Marshall Vian Summers
That is so cool.
Damnn
Thank you!
Why are so many comments so negative? I thought the tricks were amazing and magical and although he might not have given a concrete step by step plan to get your childlike wonder back... isn't that the point? To look differently at things, to think what could this be. Don't look just at what is, look at what is possible. His magic tricks were the shift of perspective.
I personally really enjoyed it and wish I still had the abundance of imagination I had as a kid. A reminder to look at ordinary things and wonder is great in my opinion 😊💕
I really like the energy and this kind of meaning. This is just like modern preaching has to be and not only on a scene, but in our lives.
There is good side of being childlike and there is also negative side of being childlike.
Traits like having childlike sense of outlook in life, childlike creativity and other positive things are good traits to have.
Traits of children like being envious, not knowing which to prioritize and giving importance to things that dont matter, solely relying on people's approval and view of you as a source of your self confidence are traits that are not good to have.
This is the most outside the box Ted Talk for sure
To regain our childlike wonder we must be willing to get rid of a useless clutter of beliefs - prejudices - resentments - ambitions and ego-drive with a mind filled with wonder and utmost faith.
To regain our childlike wonder - we must make an effort to shed all past mental conditioning.
If we are mentally/emotionally/physically suffering - it is only because whatever have been our most sincere beliefs - they have not been helpful to us; they have not promoted our well-being.
Or people can avoid gaslighters like you who ilterally assume that everyone they preach to so bigotedly has issues. Curb your own ego and don't harass people online.
Edit: also, learn the difference between self belief and narcissism: self belief is being confident enough to believe that you're right, narcissism is a complete disregard for others to act as though you're right.
The setup for getting stuck in the screen was clever!
I need this kind of paranoid back to make fun games.
The sense of "Why not" and "What if" are still extremely effective to let us feel curious and playful again.
Maybe without trying, I think he made my favorite magic show too. The last time I can remember playing with a box was in college when my roommate invented box skiing. We tied a rope to a bike and took turns pulling each other across the athletic field. That gave way to sitting on the handlebars and riding the bike sitting backward which is actually more challenging than it sounds. It was fun and re-enforced my belief that it is important to have friends of all ages--he was a little younger. I'm in a situation now where there are no young adults to hang out with and I can actually feel myself stagnating. Old people are good for sharing wisdom so you know which rules to break to get the proper hard knocks to be wise like them. Young people help one maximize fun in rule breaking and getting up in the morning to do it again despite the headache.
Damn man
Full of wonder and magic. Loved it! Thank you for inspiring, encouraging and amazing us in new ways, Zach King and team!

This might be the most amazing ted talk in ted talk's history.
What an awesome presentation ❤
I'm watching this video with my boys (8 & 7), and they agree with Zach King! They see treasure in trash, and it makes their momma go crazy sometimes, because I've been on a decluttering journey- 😄.
They've created a piggy bank out of an apple juice bottle, board games with cardboard- all sorts of crafts.
They love you, Zach King!
So much to think over in Zach's talk - definitely one to revisit.
Came with assumptions left with curiosity.
Zach and his family are awesome! This was so so good!

You are amazing Zach king🔥🔥😍🙏
Thank you for letting me found what I have lost for years!!! What a great talk!
Отличную фишку взяли на вооружение с детских новогодних елок моего детства когда детвора ждала Дед Мороза с подарками а он где-то застревал обычно. А потом также неожиданно появлялся на сцене с тем же мешком подарков что был в кадре!
Enjoyment comes from the heart ❤️

Human default memory is full of assumptions.
There are tricks how to get rid of that. Just think & don't assume that things really are as they look they are.
Isn't that relying on instinct though? 🤔
_Yes 🌺_ *TED* 😊
