I saw 1 that the dog couldn’t get off if given the chance. We have 4 male dogs and a female in heat. 2 males are not fixed and they are fighting every time they get NEAR each other. We bought 2 different muzzles TODAY so they can’t bite each other but they just use their paws and pull it right off their heads. It needs a third strap under the neck to stop that from happening, as long as they are not unattended of course.

Agree! If a basket muzzle of any type doesn't have collar-design so that the collar is actually part of the muzzle (not just attaches to the muzzle), it can easily be pulled off their heads. Look at other manufactures of muzzles, especially those that make muzzles for aggitation training (French Ring or Mondo competition, police, military dogs). I'm sure you, like me, don't need anything that intense or expensive, but most of them offer excellent, less expensive muzzles that are for pet/companion dogs that are either reactive, eat things like rocks, or for situations like yours.

I am very scared l adopted a 6 yr old westie l did not realize super high prey drive. I have a macaw Bing owned her 25 yrs. I have to keep them separated. Looking for a muzzle.🐦 I got her 6 months ago attached to both.❤️❤️

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THE FIRST TWO MUZZLES IN THIS VIDEO. Your dog's mouth is clamped shut in both of these which seriously impedes their breathing!!! If a dog is hot or nervous, they need to pant and drink water. It is the only way they have to disippate heat. Even in cold weather, I would never put a muzzle like this on a dog for more than 5 minutes. Also, being advertised as a way to keep your dog from barking is misleading as muzzles like this are not designed to keep on your dog for long periods of time. THESE MUZZLES ARE CRUEL AND DANGEROUS TO YOUR DOG. The "top" muzzle in this video looks like it is the same design as the first two, but the narrative says the dog can pant/breath well. (BTW, notice that the first two of the five do not address breathability at all). My comments are not just my personal opinion. There are a LOT of videos and articles that address the problem with these closed-mouth nylon muzzles and breathability.
