    Just about to set up a new pedalboard and you’ve convinced me not to use the included Velcro. Great tip, thanks!

    Now I need to redo my pedalboard, great. Thanks for the demonstration, I guess there is a way to eliminate that wiggle.

    Excellent demo and explanation, now I am confident to use dual-lock instead of velcro or zip ties on my new HoleyBoard setup. Problem I found with the zip ties is that same drift from regular velcro you show, and the zip tie would cover buttons on my Strymon NightSky. Thanks so much! 🤘👻❤

    This way is so much easier than measuring/aligning things perfectly.

    2 and 3 pedal boards are always cool :)

    Would the left pedal with the Velcro still wobble if you gave it 2 strips (top and bottom like how you did with the Dura Lock) instead of one fat strip on the bottom?

      @@Tomcat82 maybe not wobble, but the traditional Velcro would still compress when stepped on. And the pedal would probably scoot slightly each time it gets stomped from other than a directly overhead press. I tend to activate footswitches with my heel on the flood, so they get a little forward torque sometimes.

    There are off brands of dual lock, too.

    Just put 3M Dual Lock on the top of my Metro 20. Heated it b4 pressing it down. Do you think putting 1" pieces of Dual Lock on the pedal corners will keep them in place?

    What’s the best way to unlock these ?

      A firm lift on one side of the pedal is usually enough. If there’s too much dual lock applied, a solid plastic lever works well. Like a bicycle tire lever or a plastic paint scrapper.

    Will dual lock stick to a pedal board that already has the soft side of velcro to attach to?

    • @kevinswedlow5546
      @kevinswedlow5546  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Yes. I just picked up a Daddario XPND pedaboard that already has loop side Velcro on the rails. Dual lock attaches to it pretty well. It will still wiggle a little. But it holds very tightly.
