Adding the paper to the clear boxes was a great idea. It adds color and hides the contents so things look neater.

Shampooer and vaccum cleaner plus a swiffer mop type Bissol Crosswave is what I have. It's nice for allergies and stains.

I guess it really depends on where you are using your Kallax unit. I don't have a separate craft space, i use our lounge area. The kallax units we have, 4, do double duty as book shelves and space for my art supplies. I have upcycled cardboard boxes, covered them in paper or art from my supplies. Looks brilliant and less cookie cutter than all the other craft rooms on CZcams.
So yeah, i love them. 💜

How awesome!!!! It is nice to have a space to be creative in!! Mine has changed from a kitchen table to a corner of a basement to another basement to a kitchen and now the she shed. And that’s still changing 😂 It’s all part of the creative process. Enjoy your process too!!

WOW Shannon!! What a BEAUTIFUL transformation!! I think I’m now going to use a kitchen island as my workspace!!! Is there “knee space” area behind the island....like, can you SIT there comfortably to create?? Or are your knees up against the cabinet??
