The RGB on the back had me laughing as soon as you pointed at it. I knew straight away that it wouldn't do anything at all. I really would have loved to have been there when the person designing it decided this was a good idea. Also I rock the shine on my caps, its not that noticeable even after like 2+ yrs of heavy use for my ABS set
1. It makes you laugh
2. You beleive st shinning out of sight rather than darkness
some of those aesthetic choices are hit or miss but you can't deny that value, especially for a brass weight!

that rgb panel is a weird choice, i think it's there to serve as a caps lock indicator? with those caps lock keys that have the little clear spot. that's the only explanation i could think of for it

The only possible purpose I see for that RGB is for a capslock indicator. If you have a set with a windowed capslock key it would shine through the top. Still weird though.
well capslock indicator would be on top of the pcb and this is on the bottom so yeah still weird lol
@@AndyVNguyen looks like it was shining through on the front too so maybe it'd work? but yeah definitely a strange choice, and I'm certain it's not mapped that way by default
How would you rate the baby raccoons as a switch vs something like a matcha latte in regards to the stock experience?
Pretty similar. But matcha latte’s long pole sound leads.

ok im just curious why is it that the people who aren't into keyboards, custom keyboards I mean, always show the same keyboard in every video. They'll have Grovemade, Orbitkey, Deltahub, Flexispot, Ergonofis and most of the time, prebuilts like Keychron, Iquinix, Nuphy, and Logitech, but then when it comes to custom keyboards, they always only show 1 particular keyboard brand, Mode keyboards. and sometimes Luminikey. Why is that? Is Mode somewhere being promoted on kickstarter or something. Literally every desk setup video i've seen, these people will have prebuilt keyboards and then the exception of Mode. Why is it that I only see Mode everywhere. It''s literally posted by everyone who isn't into keyboards for some reason. What I mean is you don't see Jelly Epoch, or FoxLab, or qk65, or zoom65, or time80, or space65, etc being seen. What makes the Mode so special? It's so bizarre. These desk setup youtubers always show the same exact products from one another and they always own the same product

is it weird that out of all of the 75's i've seen and looked at, my favourite is the original id80 and polaris75
I really liked the look of the ID80, buddy of mine had one, it’s definitely a loud / resonant case with a stiff typing feel given the integrated plate, but if you can get over that, it was very cool!
For me, I'm not a big fan of 75s because nowadays everyone and their mother is doing exploded navigation and knob lol. Something like the Mode Sonnet or the Akko Top 75 looks better IMO.
@@corecombat26 I actually have a Sonnet and Bubble75, and prefer those over my Thera75 with the exploded nav cluster, I definitely prefer it more compact, but to each their own
i like the layout where you have separation for frow but no offset arrows and nav. keeps it compact
@@AndyVNguyen agreed, having some space for the F row is nice! I'm generally much more concerned with width than height, which is why as interesting as some of those function row less TKLs and 1800s can be, they really don't appeal to me. That said, I'm all for more layout variety for folks, so kudos to the people making those boards.

yeah because it was mid to high 200s for barebones before for alu and weight, now we're sub 200.. next is gonna be 150..

Epbt does have PBT keycaps, although most of their stuff is ABS. I’d be inclined to believe the seller if they’re stating it’s PBT
@@DemVidzIsMine Epbt sells mostly PBT keycaps, however their WOB set is an ABS set.
