  • It's out with the old Emtron KV8 ECU and in with the Link ECU Xtreme G4X ECU in The Lab's D40 V8 Navara.

    Building a shelby cobra using this engine for motivation, been looking at options to run it, this option is looking promising

      They are a great ECU and run these engines with ease, if you add a Razor PDM to the equation you'll have enough to run the whole car :)

    I am building a cobra with a vk45de the y50 version out of a Fuga in New Zealand I believe I heard you mention in one of you videos that you can Rev it out to 8000? I don't intend to modify it other than having the free flowing side pipes and at this stage very much leaning towards this link computer set up, I am running RX8 suspension and brakes your pinion on possibly using the abs sensors to run a traction control arrangement through the link computer? ( NO idea if that's a possibility just thinking a 1000kg car with 400hp could be a handfull😅😅😅

      I believe they're limited by the runner flow, I think they run out of steam around 7k with the stock manifold/cam..
