    I finally used this square coaster mold again which I didn't use for ages and I tested the different ways of doing the webeffect like Sandra did in one of her most recent pours (link below):

    I love your choices of colors in all your videos! Another example of what a great eye you have for color theory! Maybe it’s not all about color theory, but you know exactly how the colors in the resin whether they be Mica powder, metal powders, and/or alcohol inks, the fact that you know how each one is going to respond blows my mind every single time, so bravo Petra!👏😁

      Thank you so much much for your very beautiful compliment. It really touches me. I just often think 'why not' and just try to combine different colors. Sometimes I am also inspired by watching a movie and looking at the color combinations of the interior.❤️

    If I didn’t care for orange before, I do now! These are so pretty. With our very hot weather, just looking at these reminded me of a cool breeze. The first one unveiled is my favorite. Well done!! 🧡🌺

      You will have success once you understand about the different resins and pigments. Trust me. I had a long learning process myself 😅♥️

    I saw these on your Instagram page earlier today and I automatically thought of an ice cream on a stick which has creamy ice cream in the center and gorgeous orange ice on the outside and now I'm obsessing about them. 😂 So beautiful Petra.

      It is normally a pigment especially made for eco pours but you can use it with resin too and so I thought I go orange for once 🧡😍🧡

    Wow, they are so striking, absolutely beautiful, and one of my favorite colors to paint with is orange neon. I'm so enamored by the beauty of the motion of your piece. I would use those exact colors again.Thank you for sharing this 🙏💥✌️
    Even though your front side I guess is supposed to be used face up,is there any reason why you can't use the bottom side as the top, it is so much more that's all, only a question ⁉️🤔🫂🧡🔥
    Did you notice that one of them looked fiery, it looked very cool 😎👍💞🌹

    • @petragerbracht
      @petragerbracht  Před 23 dny +1

      Of course you can use the pouring site instead of the bottom site but many of us resin artists are going for the effects at the bottom site. This is the challenging about resin. But like everything in art, there is no rule. 🧡🧡🧡🧡

  • @AllysonWonderlandOfResin

    I adore all of these & incredibly thankful that u tested out different pouring orders as I’ve been dying to attempt the web effect but everyone does it slightly different. Only a few channels experiment like this. I didn’t want to make set of 4 different coasters but I get confused about the different names people call them. Is the crackle effect & web effect the same style? Then there’s geodes & dragon scale😮I’ve searched high & low trying to understand if the names are only different due to the country u reside in or are they all totally different & I can’t convince myself I have it figured out! Lastly I say flip the 1 coaster that turned white on the 1 side, flip it over & call them a perfect set!❤

      @petragerbracht  Před 24 dny +1

      Thank you so much. There are so many different techniques and ways to pour similar effects. Pour a crackle effect in a deep mold makes it often look like a flower. It is also a different what pigment you use and you get a dragon scale. Just go for it and test it. You will see, you will achieve wonderful effects. 🧡

    The back of one of the coasters looked like fire. 🔥
    Is it possible to do a “swipe” with resin like you can in acrylic pouring?
    To capture fire in resin, I was wondering if you could put flame colours at one edge and swipe up, then use a tool to make a couple of distinct flame shapes.

    • @petragerbracht
      @petragerbracht  Před 23 dny +1

      I can imagine that it works on a canvas but I am not sure. When you work with molds you need to wait until your resin is really thick to make your design. Otherwise it will still move and create its own design ❤️
