- I got invited to a UAAP Season 81 Women's Volleyball game! With my VIP backstage pass, I explore the behind the scenes of a UAAP Season 81 Women's Volleyball game! I see where the TV stations do their work, find the athlete locker rooms, and see the game from all angles! In this vlog, I watch Adamson University (AdU) vs. University of the East (UE). In the next vlog, I attend Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) vs. De La Salle University (DLSU)!

Flying Kell La Salle didn’t beat Ateneo. Ateneo beat Ateneo.
Ateneo was the Number 1 team when they went up against La Salle. But their nerves killed them. Ateneo also has the Top 3 Best Blockers, yet they had 0 blocks when they faced La Salle.
Some said it was Ateneo’s game plan to just give in. They’re still Number 1 after all. No bearing game.
Ateneo didn’t show anything. La Salle, on the other hand, gave everything. La Salle was scouted by Ateneo. Ateneo now knows the game plan of La Salle.
Let’s see how Ateneo fares come Semis and Finals.

Kenzy Ongpauco Tiu give credit to where credit is due. La Salle did their assignment. They planned and practiced how to counter Ateneo’s blocking by doing perimeter shots and off-the-block hits. Those weren’t accidents. Even their defense pattern changed. Did you notice how they were going near the net to cover? Since Ateneo is great in blocking, you would expect the ball to bounce straight down, that’s why the libero was there waiting. Ateneo had 0 blocks not because they weren’t blocking well, it was because there weren’t any balls to block (credit to La Salle’s smart offense). Please increase your volleyball IQ. And realize that Coach Ramil isn’t a champion coach without scouting his opponents properly and writing the team’s spot-on game plans.

You made my day in recalling myself on my days as a volleyball player and my school alma mater Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepcion, Cebu to win the game for the private school for female n to join the public school female as to represent the Visayas Region. What a vlog :-)

So how was it seeing Araneta parting like the red sea with green on one side and blue on the other? With every La Salle and Ateneo game, it's a battle of pride. The team standing doesn't matter, lose to any team but not to your archrival. Believe me the rivalry goes beyond sports. Btw, Bro Bernie Oca, one of familiar La Salle brothers, was right when he says "good for you" to have to witness a La Salle-Ateneo game. Tickets are scarce even players having hard time securing for their families. So you are damn lucky to get a VIP pass!
