"The Necromancer screams, the Barbarian roars!" That's great comic writing. I basically forgot about Brissa lol, she felt like a footnote after the first story arc but looking forward to her appearance in the miniseries. The ending is satisfying but I have 2 doubts maybe you can clear it (SPOILER WARNING) 1) In the final panel Yag Kosha says Conan was pulled from his age by a deific power? My understanding is that it was Brule's magic from arc 1 that pulled Conan into the Thurian age, when Brule plunges his hand into Conan's chest. 2) We see the Atlantean sword in the final panel. No doubt it will appear in the Black Stone miniseries but it's just a hunk metal now right? No magic in it. Looking forward to Frozen Faith, would prefer a more intimate story arc like issues 5-8.
This is dxactly what I like in Conan comics. This is just great stuff that takes you back to those early Marvel Comics stories. It also reminds you of the Howard stories and Zub shows how well-acquainted he is with the world Howard created.
As previously stated, so far I really do enjoy this series, this closes the arc nicely however its also no secret that I am not too thrilled to go in to yet another story around the black stone. I look forward to moving beyond it, because I know theres more adventures to be had that dont tie to this rock.
No one’s ever gonna come close to the Busiek/Nord run but this is quite good. Wish the colors would be better, though. Villarubia was bad enough, this is worse. The lettering on the other hand is great.
The lettering c'est la piece de resistance. So perfect. I've been enjoying Rodriguez's colours...though I'm a little disappointed that Dean White didn't continue past issue 9. Loved his work in that issue.
Great ending. I got cover C. Such a fantastic series. Side note: I think Titan needs to up their cover game with their novels. CITY OF THE DEAD deserves way better.

Conan hasnt been Conan since Marvel brough thim back. He is weak and anemic now. And the art is meh at best. They arent even close to the art of the giants Big John Buscema, Barry Windsor Smith, Gil Kane, and my good friend the late Ernie chan .

This run is amazing. Conan the Barbarian is much better with Jason Aaron and the liberals at Marvel comics far away from it

I love Ernie Chan's Conan. So great. Though I'd have to disagree on the art...De La Torre is much better than meh.
