Loved how Aaron said that Robert helped him and when Chas asked why he turner to him, he didn't just brush it off and say "he was just their". So this could meant he does trust him quite a bit. Thank you so much for uploading these.
Robert is fully aware that Aaron is in the darkest of places and that this is hardly the time to get romantic and do kissy face. The time is coming and Robert is being an angel. That first embrace will be the sweetest.
On the beach Aaron is completely lying to Chas about "learning the lesson" and being over his "bad place".... she shouldn't believe him.... he's not over anything ! He will self-harm again, if he had to face another stressor or another trigger... I hope that in all this sad and painful SL Aaron will really take care of himself and find professional help for his mental well-being.... On the other note (lighter): Aaron basically said Chas that he managed to be in a better place thanks to ROBERT (that "Robert halped me" is everything !!!).... how can Chas not realize how these two guys are deeeply connected and madly in love with each other ? I like the relationship Chas and Aaron have because they really do love and care for each other. I think that's why I get so frustrated (mostly with Chas) sometimes - she can be so great with him and supportive, then she'll drop the ball and go off on one. But I guess we all have our faults. These characters all have flaws and that's what makes them so relatable. Reason 6572 to love Emmerdale!

Aaron loves Robert so much why is Chas on denial? It seems to be Chas is afraid of Robert in the sense she fears Aaron will want him as his confidant but that is normal. The relationship between Chas and Aaron must change she needs to back off a bit. Yes Chas is Aaron mother but in order for Aaron to become a man he needs to start making his own decisions. And Aaron does need to move out the sooner the better. it is the only way Aaron is going to grow up he cannot lean on his mom forever.
The acting here was incredible. This trip took Aaron back to when he was 7, before the abuse started, it's so heart breaking.
