Part of Steve Kerr’s job is to stick up for his players and defend them. Stephen A sounded silly the other day talking about Steph Curry’s leadership like he’s responsible for another man’s behavior. No one questioned Jordan’s leadership when it came to Dennis Rodman.

Stephan A never criticized KD's leadership when Kyrie was messing things up in Brooklyn. Not once. He made all the excuses for KD and blamed Kyrie purely. Even when people pointed out that Lebron could have managed Kyrie better,if the played together. Stephen A. Still said KD's leadership style was different.
Now it's a Draymond perennial issue and since Stephen A. Can't defend Draymond as usual, he turns to blame Curry. And he's disgusted at Steve Kerr and never at Draymond. Double standard personified!
I swear Stephen A d rides KD ever since KDs mom confronted him. This guy is such a goof bro

Steph is a great leader but I agree he has EARNED the right to be more vocal now. He’s a great leader and his team needs the wisdom he has.
My issue with this is we dont know what Steph does on a day to day basis regarding being a leader. Just because he isnt speaking into a mic about it doesnt mean he isnt having those conversations. Thats what makes all of the criticism about his leadership so disingenuous. Until his teammates come out and say these things idk how anyone can question his leadership. Kerr legit just stated hes an amazing leader and he would know more than anyone.
Stephan A questioned Curry’s leadership on national tv and now denying it 🙄🫠
If you watch the whole thing, Kerr was getting super emotional over it, almost crying, but it's obviously misplaced. What he's really feelng shitty about is his team blowing up in his face, not Stephen A questioning Curry's leadership.
Tbh bro Steve Kerr has 9 rings I mean he wouldn’t cry if we don’t win a ring this year lol bro and our team is good we just gotta make some changes we haven’t got blown out once this year we just gotta finish the end of the games

Just because he didn't say it publicly doesn't mean he hasnt tried. I hate when Stephen A does this. That’s what the media is now. If you didn’t say it with 20 cameras and a mic then you never did it. It’s almost like some players do things in private because no matter what they say to reporters, they’ll spin the narrative however they want.
This has been a issue for draymond since 2016 no way lebron would allow or go along with this bs and that’s what I think Stephen A was saying

That's exactly 💯 what he said YESTERDAY
Exactly! Stephen A wondering how Steph would have an impact on Draymond green IS questioning Steph’s leadership! Like, I don’t see how Stephen A. is gonna try to back out of what he said. If anything, he’s the one twisting the story that he started in the first place.
haha yeah. "How dare you say I was questioning his leadership. It's just my official position that people should be questioning his leadership." --- Stephen A smith, the #1 sports commentator in the world
I don’t understand what ppl expect Steph to do. Draymond is an anomaly, and he his own man and you can only do so much. Draymond is a guy that lashed out on KD and basically made him leave the team, all because he got angry over a mistake that HE made. Draymond is going to do draymond things unless he is literally physically restrained.
Also, ppl need to understand that LeBron’s leadership style involves a whole circle of guys and infrastructure behind the scenes. Guys like Rich Paul, Maverick Carter, etc. and their connections make sure the his teammates are following the code off the court, which influences how they act on the court. Also, Lebron does a great job of screening for a teammate’s personality BEFORE he ever decides to join a team or recruit him. Notice all of the teammates that LeBron has actively joined, or played “LeGm” in recruiting, have a similar personality- all guys that have a reputation for be even-tempered and staying out of trouble- Wade, Bosh, AD, Rui Hachimura, KCP, etc. Maybe you could say Jr Smith is an exception but Jr was never one to emotionally lash out on the court. You can’t blame Steph for this considering Draymond was drafted, it’s not like he decided to join or recruit Draymond.
He certainly likes to hear himself talk.
Stephen A would really feel at home in a Real Housewives type of show 😂
Lmaooooo the way Molly said “disgusting” and lmaoo Perk laughing is hilarious. Comedy Take
Stephan A has no idea what goes on behind the scenes dray is a grown man there’s only so much you can do
Steph curry has nothing to do with Draymond acting like a child
They're acting like Curry's his legal guardian or something, there's so much you can influence another grown man's behavior
@@TheBNCyoI guess the leader is supposed to take at least some of the blame for anything that goes wrong in the team, that’s part of being the leader. But draymond is such an anomaly/unique case that it’s crazy to put any responsibility on Steph for this, he’s just someone who can’t sacrifice his emotions for his long-term interest, and on top of that he refuses to take responsibility for anything. It was a sign when he yelled the most disrespectful things at KD in the middle of a late game situation because of a mistake that he made himself. That was one of the main reasons KD left the team. The fact that he said “I don’t ever apologize for things I meant to do” when addressing the Nurkic situation was telling.
It’s amazing Steve A hasn’t been fired, he does this all the time. He would be an amazing politician with his ability to flip the script.

Not everything needs to be publicized though. I am more than confident that Steph has and does talk to Draymond. YA’LL want to see and hear it and calling Steph and using Lebron as an example. I bet Lebron is not going to going to talk to the press about someone’s personal situation.
Dray has to want to change.
Well as the leader of your team if this keeps happening you probably should address it if you don’t want to be criticized if not shut up and just take it
Yeah I know he didn’t talk to AD last season. That man was always hurt….or played hurt but was actually at home playing video games
I bet Steve Kerr would speak public if somebody put curry in the chokehold or kicked him in the groin OR throw a punch at him “unintentionally “ but since its Draymond they don’t wanna comment public . Gotta be consistent
Fair enough, but you are only guessing that he has, and that's what SA is saying. The media is the liaison between the fans and the players; Steph has been dodging Draymond Green questions since the Poole sucker punch. Leaders publicly address bad optics via the media. How else are we gonna know? U can't expect public praise, but get mad at public criticism.
Don’t need to see everything but we need to see results. And if those are the results of what Steph has been doing…oh my😂
Leadership doesn’t have to occur in public. We don’t know what happened behind closed doors, ultimately both Steve Kerr and Steph Curry have influence as leaders but the accountability is with Draymond. I disagree with how they felt they weren’t questioning Steph’s leadership in the LeBron comparison because what else is that supposed to do?
Now they have the right to question what they don’t see, but it’s more framed towards Steph not living up to his accountabilities and not asking what did Steph do in this case. I wouldn’t call it disgusting but I can understand why Steve Kerr may feel that way and I think Steph has no obligation to broadcast what actions he has taken to support this situation.
Behind closed doors they've either done nothing or let him ignore it without consequences. Either way it's an issue and then give this train wreck a 4 year deal and he's gotten worse since signing said contract. That whole organization is responsible. Either would've let him walk or gave him 1 year deals with major consequences for any suspension longer than 1 game. They raised this kid, at this point in his career they are almost as much responsible as the things the spoiled kid does 😮
Stephen A isn't SAYING it needs to be public... he never said that 😆 🤣 all he's saying is results... if they DID speak with him, he wouldn't be out here doing wild stuff... Leadership takes many different forms. LeBron leadership will not be Steph leadership (and vice versa). Why does Steph need to intervene in precisely the same way that LeBron might? Whether you agree with him or not, he's been consistent. And, I take Stephen A's position on this one, what makes Steph untouchable? I don't agree with a lot that Stephen A says, but he's got a job to do. It's unfortunate that Stephen A didn't call Kerr himself out because he is culpable as well. All the bloviating about the league getting it right all of a sudden is BS. Draymond punched a teammate and didn't receive penalty and the teammate was traded. Give me a break, Kerr.

Stephen A is only the smartest person in THIS room, not most rooms
Leadership is also about knowing when to step back and allow life to teach someone a lesson.
When have GSW done that??
They tolerated bad behavior when they won and are now hiding behind "mental health" when losing.
That's called ENABLING!!!
Kerr making Steph a "victim" is just FURTHER sadness!!
@@darrengordon-hillwe don’t know what happens behind the curtains, at this point your assuming.
@@Just_The_Don
Clearly nothing!!
We were LUCKY to see the Poole footage!!
SAS is talking about PUBLIC statements!!
Were AD suspended, we wouldn't have to search for LeBron
@@darrengordon-hillwhy does the actions of a grown man in the heat of the moment have to reflect so hard on Steph and Kerr? You can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink it.
@@SupremeGon
Because HEAD COACH and STAR PLAYER of the team he plays for!!!
Few weeks ago, Kerr "never saw" the Rudy incident, then backed the "saving his teammate" narrative.
Now he's again spouting narrative.
HE is supposed to be a leader of men.
But apparently they're children bullying a substitute teacher
Well said.Kerr can't hide behind Currys integrity as a leader and make excuses for his inactivity regarding Green
Curry, Klay, Moody, Jk, Looney ASAP Starting 5= Buckets 🏀 And More Wins Forget The Position there called that’s the way they need to group them and watch them get another Championship Rings and watch them play as a Team Put them in that order and see the results
Chris, Podziemski, Payton, Jerome, Dario Second Group
Joseph, Lester, Usman, Santos, Jackson Third Group
SAS is entering the Skip Bayless stage of his career
Hes not gonna talk bad about his enforcer. It's just like ewing, not responding to some things that oakley said about Ewing. You dont bad mouth the guy that goes to war for you, in private is a different matter but we dont know about that.
Finally someone said it. Steph's enforcer Dray, is his protector, and that same aggression, passion, and power that makes Dray a true and great enforcer and presence on the court also makes Dray a loose canon sometimes, like Rodman, Oakley, Laimbeer. And Steph definitely needs Dray. Why put him down aggressively, publicly?
He ain't an enforcer, he's a nuisance and a headache
ENABLING
i think stephen A smith is wrong on this one because they might be doing a lot of stuff to try and help Dray privately and asking those questions make no sense because steph has never been a player who is going to publicly throw teammates under the bus
The love of daddy Steve Kerr to his veterans‼️
❤😂❤
Did this fool say that Steve Kerr was a top five coach ever??? Smh. He has to stop!
Why does other players have to speak on another man's actions 🤦♂️ Plus their teammates 🤷♂️
Confirmed!!!! First take has been number 1 for 12yrs by bringing Lebron James into every discussion even when completely unnecessary.😂😂😂
Your welcome FOX Sports, that is all you had to do.
Stop making excuses Steven A. for your buddy Draymond's actions.
Stephen A. trying to say he wasn't commenting on Steph's leadership - he was only saying if Lebron were in Steph's place we'd be questioning Lebron's leadership? Stephen A using stupid logic and a bad take to try and spin his other terrible take on Steph Curry's leadership.
I'm not saying Stephen A's take was stupid but if Kendrick Perkins made that take we'd be questioning the take as being idiotic.
I mean when he was talking yesterday he was DEFINITELY implying curry isn’t the leader and Draymond was.
I don't like SAS, but Kerr is just deflecting here. Regarding Draymond, Kerr has flat out lied about what people have seen with their own eyes. Now he's just trying to make this something else as a way to get pity for his team. I wish Jordan would pop him in the eye again.
Right on brother
I wish i could hit like button a million times here. What persons are saying in comments disgust me. Everyone is too literal . Even if he was questioning Steph leadership and i agree its because hes so great that greatness should be easily be able to handle a teammate who also by the way worships the ground steph walks on. As for Kerr hes that guy who its great once its someone on our team but disgusting if someone on another team does same
Stephen A. needs to get a life. Leave Steph Curry out of this.
What do they expect Steph to do, tho? This shouldn’t even be a discussion when it comes to Draymonds behavior
First of all… you’re backtracking. You know darn well what you said yesterday - look at the tape. You directly questioned Steph’s leadership, comparing him to LeBron. You were out of pocket for that and you know it. This is not about Steph, this is not about anybody but Draymond Green, whom you go in circles with trying to absolve him of responsibility. You have defended and defended him over and over again until this last fiasco. Real friends hold friends accountable.
Curry is back on that 2022 vibe I can feel it when he kicked the chair it’s over for the nba watch he hit 40 or 50 vs nets and we go on a streak
Steve Kerr coach advice : give klay more minutes but with minutes play more with bench to get his momentum back
Give moody more minutes
Wiggins play great defense and knock down open shots and get great looks get back to 2022 wiggins
Kevin looney get rebounds and protect the paint
Warriors go on a big winning streak after they beat nets Saturday December 16th game start @ 8:30Pm
yessir
The Warriors are no where near as deep as they were back then. It’s an end of an Era. Without Steph, the current Warriors are a lottery team
i’m with you! 👌🏼
I don't like Stephen Smith, but in this instance he is right. I agree with him.
This was better then the soaps today 👍🏾
