You ever wonder why he acts like a woman? I do every video but set it aside, and this man knows how to rock and roll. He has rocked for many many decades, and there is so much great music, and we need these all back in 2023! Rock on
The original non-radio-edit line is "She blew my head and then she blew my mind". Which makes a lot more sense if you're into sex, drugs and rock and roll.
Brilliant. Recall seeing gig live years ago, also when had the giant inflatable lips and tongue with Jagger making his entrance through it. Seen Stones many times, never disappoint.
Saw this tour at the Orange Bowl. Won the tickets from Zeta4, the classic rock station in South Florida at the time. Then sold the tickets that I already had for more than I paid for them! Best concert I’ve been to
Greatness. I saw the Stones play this tour (Steel Wheels) in Dallas, TX at the Cotton Bowl. We were about half way back (near the mixing tower) on the floor; stood on folding chairs the entire concert. “Honkey Tonk Women” is one of my favorites and those gigantic inflatable women were definitely a big surprise (pun intended). So much fun.
My friends dad, Rob Harries designed & manufactured the Honky Tonk women. Always thought he had the best job when I was growing up. Their farm was awesome as a kid
I saw them at Shea Stadium for the Steel Wheels Tour in '89 and I felt Honky Tonk Woman was the big highlight of the concert. Mick who is 79 today, July 26 had so much energy during that tour. Those two blowup dolls were each 50 feet high.
It was so large there were airplane warning lights on the tips. True story! Saw them twice at the LA Coliseum with Guns & Roses. Axl Rose went on a rant. Ram around the old track and then back on to the stage.
I don't miss my old man you know. My dad hated the "long haired unwashed layabouts" and was an absolutely tone deaf boring old fart so in Australia (ten pound poms) 1973 (Feb 21) after 3 days truancy to get a ticket I went defiantly to see them with Mick Taylor in Memorial Drive Adelaide where we lived and I lived from 1967 to 1975 I was 15 with same length hair and I washed it regularly England (boomerang pom) Then I saw them again last gig of their 1982 tour on the 25th July 1982 once again bending life's rules I was with a married woman policewoman and she really enjoyed it More that that it blew her away and that was the idea of it I was an ambulance paramedic then and I got two of the last 6 tickets left on sale at Piccadilly Records Manchester they reserved them aside for me in appreciation of my work and of course the long hair had gone but not the Stones spirit ! That was LEEDS Roundhay Park the middle of a summer and as they burst onto the stage my companion turned to me and said Q "THIS !! is what I've been missing" as they opened with the very apt "Lets Spend The Night Together" Nice memory that down my ear above the Stones playing LIVE followed by a kiss on the cheek 1 in 88,000 people :) I was 25 and single. Ian Stewart Charlie Watts R.I.P.
I saw this concert in Vancouver on Nov. 2, 1989. It was an amazing show and I'll never forget the two huge inflatable ladies that took over both sides of the stage. While they were getting the brunette one blown up both of her arms got stuck in between her legs. You could see a guy in the front with a long pole trying to move one of her arms but it was too late. It all happened so fast and then they were both all blown up and she looked a little x-rated as she bounced and bobbed to the tune with her hands between her knees. 😄
I saw them live a few years ago- what an AWESOME show!!I mean everyone was singing every word to every song! They had the inflatable women at that show, but I hear they aren't using them anymore for this number- does anyone know if that's true? I think too many people thought the brunette was a little too risque- but the blonde is SO cool ( I mean, the shoe halfway off, the shades & the cigarette, come on)! especially when you see her live; it is AMAZING!!
Loving the "brown sugar" in the white shorts at the very beginning !! The one to the left of the screen after cowbell opening and then at 2:32 on the right !
I always looked at seeing them live as something I just probably couldn't do, I always heard about the ticket prices & they wouldn't come any closer to me than NY, they're in my I wish file
RY COODER TAUGHT KEEF HIS FAMOUS OPEN G TUNING.....JUST BEFORE THE STONES RECORDED EXILE ON MAIN ST........KEEF IS THE MASTER AT THIS TUNING.THE SLICK WAY HE PLAYS THE LICKS AND HIS SOUND FROM HIS 5 STRING TELE......BRILLIANT!!!!!
I look out at the thousands of people having a great time but I think "Everyone of them paid a hefty price to be there and the amount of money would stagger a person but after all they're the greatest Rock~N~Roll Band in The World~!!!! No not The Beatles~!!!
Keith Richards guitar style is unique to no one else on the planet! Awesome!
Agreed. 5-string open G.
Fingers like a miner or lumberjack.
89-90 : the best tour of the Stones in my opinion.
So professional and energic : Perfect.
Saw them at Shea Stadium. Unreal stuff
Keith style on the open g is amazing. He plays so many versions of this and it was meant to be fun to play.
RIP Charlie. Always in our hearts
A Jazz man, playing rock n roll!
What a legend!
All music kings were once
fed with musical milk.
Long live the king of music and his band The Rolling Stones!😍
The coolest guitar intro ever!!
BS
One of the coolest
freakin awesome
Still one of my absolute favorite songs by these guys... one of the greatest intros in rock history.
Totally agree.
One of the easiest to play as well, but yet so good.
They are very good, I truly hope they make it big time.
That intro is so badass
Real Rock and Rolla
Rest in peace, Mr. Watts.🙏❤
Beautiful rolling stones❤
Richards is an 80 year old teenager. Amazing.
Lol Keith going from plucking to summoning the magic pick at 1:08
I've kept a pick in my mouth before it's alot easier then grabbing one off a mic stand
Rolling stones.mujer honky tonk❤❤❤😊
always love jagger's outfit style
You ever wonder why he acts like a woman? I do every video but set it aside, and this man knows how to rock and roll. He has rocked for many many decades, and there is so much great music, and we need these all back in 2023! Rock on
One of the baddest jams of all time love it
when you are 13 'she blew my nose then she blew my mind' is the best lyric you've ever heard .It..well....blows yer mind
The original non-radio-edit line is "She blew my head and then she blew my mind". Which makes a lot more sense if you're into sex, drugs and rock and roll.
Wow the video quality on this is stunning.
It's an incredibly well shot piece of film. Editing is superb.
Best concert I’ve been to
Saw this tour....chills still
That was fun! This band delivers, period!
God Loves Them!
When rock n roll doesnt give a shit what nationality you are...!! love it!

I saw this concert in Rotterdam, 19 may 1990 (Urban jungle tour) great and unforgettable!
My friends dad, Rob Harries designed & manufactured the Honky Tonk women. Always thought he had the best job when I was growing up. Their farm was awesome as a kid
EU NUNCA VI UM SHOU DELES MAIS SOU FÃ DE TODAS MÚSICAS MUITO TOP😊

Steel Wheel tour. I saw them September 1989.
Great piano solo from Chuck Leavell. He also plays the piano in Eric Clapton Unplugged Session from 1992.
That stage is just amazing
It was so large there were airplane warning lights on the tips.
True story! Saw them twice at the LA Coliseum with Guns & Roses. Axl Rose went on a rant. Ram around the old track and then back on to the stage.
@@ec1628 no way, that’s wild. Also, sounds rad, awesome story
@@ec1628 lucky indeed
Saw this show at RFK Stadium, Washington DC. On a rainey Monday night but man was it worth it!
Amazing Kieth was sooo young back then...like a 100...😂
Best live perfomance of this song!
Agreed
Stones, simple the best!
Rock and roll Will never die, with us!
They played this in Charlotte on September 30th... It was unbelievably incredible.
Yea I remember this, you had me playing this a lot of times and I did for you, my friend. I bet you were laughing at me. I will never forget this song
Micki-Boy forever!!!!!will love you till the end
my father loved this song, miss you so much dad ❤️💔
sinto muito!
I don't miss my old man you know.
My dad hated the "long haired unwashed layabouts"
and was an absolutely tone deaf boring old fart so in
Australia (ten pound poms)
1973 (Feb 21) after 3 days truancy to get a ticket I went
defiantly to see them with Mick Taylor in Memorial Drive
Adelaide where we lived and I lived from 1967 to 1975
I was 15 with same length hair and I washed it regularly
England (boomerang pom)
Then I saw them again last gig of their 1982 tour on the
25th July 1982 once again bending life's rules I was with
a married woman policewoman and she really enjoyed it
More that that it blew her away and that was the idea of it
I was an ambulance paramedic then and I got two of the
last 6 tickets left on sale at Piccadilly Records Manchester
they reserved them aside for me in appreciation of my work
and of course the long hair had gone but not the Stones spirit !
That was LEEDS Roundhay Park the middle of a summer

Keith's domain of the guitar goes beyond my vocabulary
On a guitar with two strings only!
The greatest song ever written
Now, that is a bad ass woman!

@@sandimu5956 it was a magical event wasn't it? So glad to hear you got to see it ✌💖💋🎶
Saw them in LA too. Fantastic show!!!! Guns and Roses opened.
Esse era o meu video favorito quando criança nos anos 90'. Eu ficava impressionada com as bonecas infladas gigantes.
Viva Rolling Stones 🤘
Love "The Stones" and their raunchy music.
❤ honky-tonk woman with my favorite song by The Rolling Stones the world's greatest rock and roll band

I did my thing. But I never did my thing like one of The Stones.
I always looked at seeing them live as something I just probably couldn't do, I always heard about the ticket prices & they wouldn't come any closer to me than NY, they're in my I wish file
A performance for the funky junky...the junky for all things funky!
most likely the best song every and look at Keith he seems only focused on the music He is so fun to watch
The finger-pointing dude in the audience with his class ring cracks me up.

Great show - the best!
With only two fucking strings man. Fuck you Keith you're the best
I look out at the thousands of people having a great time but I think "Everyone of them paid a hefty price to be there and the amount of money would stagger a person but after all they're the greatest Rock~N~Roll Band in The World~!!!! No not The Beatles~!!!
Sory, but I saw both bands live, and the Beatles are better- there's a reason why they called them the Fab Four
Such a great song, especially live. A little reminder its a live show at 3:57 when Mick gets smacked in the head by the balloon.
