This loss is solely on Luka's hands. They were still ahead 9 points. And what did he do? He kept chugging ill advised shots. He keeps the ball in his hands, in every posession, until there's too little time left to make a decent play, and instead settling for low percentage shots. C'mon Luka. You're struggling. Find your team mates who are actually making an impact. Make plays. I hope he realizes that the way he plays is not championship basketball. smh.

Yes, stat mongers are wondering why Luka hasn't won an MVP yet and I think this is why. Luka is amazing, no doubt, but he spends a lot of time whining to the refs and dribbles the air out of the ball. And Luka has yet to show us that he's a force in the post season. His decision-making and discipline when butts get tight is questionable. A lot of players look great during the regular season, but very few can carry their team to the promised land in the playoffs.
That's Luka, that's how he plays sometimes he makes em. Sometimes he doesn't.

Congrats to the Thunder, but the Mavs really threw the game away. You got a 3 possessions advantage, at home, in a low scoring game, 1 quarter left. You can't lose in that situation, Luka and Kyrie didn't play like they were supposed to, they should've assumed the burden of the game instead of putting it on the role players' shoulders.

Those last FTs told the story of the game for the Mavs. He missed the one he needed to make, then made the one he was supposed to miss. Mavs gave the game away at the line.

OKC was coming with all the loose balls in the second half of the game. Yes, there is an element of luck to that but mostly it's about effort.
If you are referring to the missed free throws by Dallas, that's about focus. Draymond called it "discipline," and I think what he means is discipline to calm yourself down and remember your free throw routine every time you step up to the line without letting emotion or the game circumstances throw off your focus.

It's crazy how a current NBA player and a hand full of former NBA players don't know the rule on loosing possession of the ball and then getting your dribble back. Draymond said the mavs player never gained possession of the ball therefore it's a double dribble. How does a current NBA player say that? The defender does not have to gain possession during a loose ball for the offensive player to get his dribble back. I think TNT should do a quick study session on the rules for the game they're commenting on. The pool report will explain why it was correct to not call a double dribble in that instance.

Game 1 was an anomaly for OKC. Outside of that, it has been all Dallas.
