Mapa is such a classic now! Pablo wrote it and is so relatable. I also cried so much when I first listened. Mapa is map in Tagalog but also stands for Ma for mama and Pa for Papa. And Ma for mata (eyes) and Pa for paa (feet). Pablo’s lyrics hits for sure. From Ken ( the Bisaya rocksta)❤❤❤, Justin our visual director, Stell main vocalist and sunshine of the group, Pablo, the Leader and their lyricist and Josh is the main dancer and the oldest of the group. Lataratara - I read that it was how Pablo heard his Grandma sang the lullaby with the word "La Tierra" ; something like lalalala . I've watched quite a number of reactions on this, and this can even move men. It somehow make them realize their relationships with their parents. And for a couple of men, who did not experience a father's love, the song made them realize that they would want to be that father that SB19 is talking about. I thought that was good. The Lyrics video is also quite good.

I became a fan of SB 19 because of MAPA in 2021… I cried, too, upon hearing it… btw, I was able to watch this wish bus performance in person… the venue was in Chino City ,CA… fans & some casuals were hyped… the boys performed 3 songs…. I have watched 4 live concerts of theirs already here in 🇺🇸, yr 2022 & 2023. … I’m from Mindanao, too.

Thank you for this RV! I have the same reaction too every time I listen to MAPA, it always makes me tear up! SB19 sound better live and they always do modifications on the songs they perform so that it always sound new. They have other ballads like Liham (Letter), Ilaw (Light), Nyebe (Snow), Tilaluha (Stop Crying) & Hanggang Sa Huli (Until the End). But they have songs in other genres too, like Where You At (WYAT), Moonlight, Bazinga, What?, Go Up, Alab, and others. Btw the official lyric video of MAPA has just reached 100 Million views. Mapa is very popular here in the Ph especially during graduations. Hope you can watch SB19 while they sing & dance to songs like WYAT or Moonlight.😊

Lataratara is actually La Tierra (Spanish for The World, a lullaby his grandma used to sing to put Pablo to sleep. It means the children means the world to any parent). Pablo is the one who composes their songs. Ken, the deep-voiced Bisaya can also do a mean falsetto. Stell, the one in the middle, hits the highest notes ( he went viral recently when he sang All By Myself with David Foster himself on the piano). Justin was the one who sang the first. Josh sang the Papa part which is ironical because he grew up not seeing his father.

Latalatula is a lulluby that Pablo remembers having sung to him as a child. Ken, in the black and orange, also known as Felip in his solo career is from your Provence. Watch his MV for Palayo and also Konako if you understand the language. Their solo projects are equally as good.

This song is the answer to the ungratefulness of the youth here in Europe.I live in Germany and I'm sure you know about the youths who are gluing themselves on the ground or at the airport runways or the ones who threw orange juice at a Monalisa painting or milk at the BigBen and they think that they are entitled for everything and are blaming the old generation for their situation. You could show xour son the song Crimzone or Bazinga. You should know that there are many new A'tin (fandom name) were bashers before they became fans, like me. Because I am a rock music fan and i don't like Kpop (not hating, just not my preference) and they looked to me like they are Kpop wannabes and my friend kept nagging me to like them, and Mapa i thought was a syrupy run of the mill love song... until I heard Ken (a.k.a. Felip) chanting "Gento" and singing/rappong "No rush I can do this all day" in his deep voice... then I listened next to Crimzone and by then I got so hooked i started losing sleep binge watching their videos and video reactions of foreign reactors, i was blown away. Then finally I watched the official lyric video of Mapa... i was so taken aback that it was not a love song but a very touching song about our parents, I cried myself to sleep. 😂💙

As far as I know Wish Bus don’t mind if you react to their videos. SB19 MVs seem to be difficult to react to without applying some overlay on top of the video based on what I’ve seen from other reactors. Not sure if they had to apply audio filters too. For something different, try Mana, I want You, Ilaw, Moonlight.
