Who is Marvel's Blackheart? The Embodiment of Evil

- This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the Marvel Comics character "Blackheart." From being the Son of Mephisto created from the overwhelming evil energies of a town in New York named Christ's Church, having immortality and vast superpowers due to his origins as a denizen of the underworld, easily doing battle with some of the most powerful and popular characters in Marvel Comics such as The Avengers including others, creating his own supervillain team called the Spirits of Vengeance, to his repeated attempts to overthrow his father Mephisto for dominion of hell and to conquer Earth-616; Let's take a look at this powerful Marvel supervillain, and the unique self-proclaimed Black King of the Marvel Universe. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic book and science fiction characters.

I love Blackheart. He’s underrated and should be more of a threat. I’m surprised that he doesn’t face off against Doctor Strange more often. He’s THAT strong, though? Since when can he lift 100 tons?
Blackheart is immune to Ghost Rider's "Penance Stare ", is because he has NO SOUL.
True as to reason why Johnny had him absorb all those soul and then penance stared his ass which then affected him as he got punished for those souls wrong doing and his own wrong doing or it was just his own wrong doing I forgot the rest.
It's 2019 now, and yet we still have people who think they know EVERY THING about the character because they watched the movie adaptation. New Sage is right, while you're wrong.

I think its cause Daredevil and Spiderman fought him not too long after he was born, he didn't know how to talk or use his powers properly.

The Ghost Rider movie (2007), literally butchered the character and did him no justice. I hope Blackheart gets another chance either in the upcoming Ghost Rider series for Hulu or in a Doctor Strange sequel.
Ghost Rider, Punisher and Wolverine vs Blackheart comic is one of my favorite comic moments ever.

I've always loved his design from my days playing the capcom games. Questions I have is who or what are the little guys he throws at his opponents in the computer games? Also if he is so powerful why does he not just take over Earth as he sounds ridiculously op?

I feel blackheart deserves more attention than what he gets. His more evil than Galactus. More insane than his father. And just as bloodthirsty as thanos. He may not appear in any cartoons but i do hope he returns in the comics or at least a live action marvel series. I hope blackheart gets more attention brought to him because I feel he deserves it to just discard him in my opinion is disrespectful to his character. He defeated the avengers without even trying, defeated his father who is a celestial i could be wrong on that. In a way blackheart reminds me of Makuta Icarax from bionicle. I remember him on Marvel Superheroes Marvel Superheroes VS Street Fighter Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance, where you have to make a choice to save Jean Grey or Nightcrawler
They ruined him in the first Ghost Rider movie, he was just a guy in eyeliner and a leather jacket. Blackheart is unbelievably strong. He defeated Spiderman, Captain America, and Wolverine within less than a second.

A lot of people in the comments are saying how they didn’t like the BlackHeart in the 2007 movie. Ngl I actually really liked the Blackheart in the movie, not just because Wes Bentley played him, but because the character over all wasn’t that bad honestly. I like how they showed his human form and some parts of his demonic face. For the people who haven’t read the comics and stuff, it really makes them think about what his true form is which is a both exciting and frustrating process.
I discovered BlackHeart by that game and I have liked him every since.

As a child I was thought BlackHearts design on the game Marvel Super Heroes was bad ass. Nd the boss at the end was Thanos, but when Marvel vs Capcom 2 came out I was a wrap. I was using Black Heart, Thanos, and Shuma-Gorath… ahhh good times.

Lore : The story is set after the events of Secret Wars. After winning agaisnt the Kang dinasty on the Battleworld, Peter returns in his normal routine... The difference being that he has a new suit made of a black substance, making him stronger.

Lore : Peter has find the Norman Osborn of his universe, and managed to get his black suit off. As he is stalking the one who indirectly ruined his life, an unknown forces tries to corrupt him and Daredevil for mysterious reasons. It's Mephisto and Blackheart.
Alone they won't be able to defeat these two devils. Doctor Strange will then have the role to help them.

He's a good villain is a waste they don't use he's character to appear in MCU or even marvel movie animation, marvel start to improve in animation and even games.
