Was a store manager for Walgreens for 3 years. The way Pokémon cards work in stock is all based on demand and the warehouse. On the shelf you will see just a few because it’s based on sales of your not selling them you only will be sent 1-3. The 20 card lot boxes he got in is a promo box that they push for a endstand that’s temporary. The cheaper we can buy the product for and have a 45-75% margin is what Walgreens is all about. Every 3 months they will run a promo with Pokémon TCG to bring in floor stands of the newest sets so look for those 👍
I work at Pokémon kards
@Nummy-Beanz I am pokmong carids
Why do some Walgreens have them and others have none
Love these. Reminds me never to shop at the drugstore for Pokémon cards.
Ayo what? Drug store?
@@karterpg3d81 bro cvs is a drugstore
@@shockingcollectibles7029 Mhm ive been there cvs has trash pokemon cards
U are my favorite pokemon youtuber
Hvv
Walgreens with the win. Got me!!! I’ve noticed all these stores have different selections. Like no 2 cvs’s have the same Pokémon stuff. All depends on which one you hit!
O was dying when he said “I GET TO GO OITSIDE 😀😀😀” it was so funny
Hey pokerev, I think it would be cool if you did a mystery box vs mystery box from two sellers from different websites again, ie: Amazon, eBay etc
That would be good
Agreed!
Not sure about Walgreens, I've had the worst luck there personally
Same like they are never in stock and when they are they have like 2 packs left
These videos are awesome. Helps us see what these stores have to offer! I think CVS will take the cake! I just found single packs with a mystery foil card behind it at CVS. I haven’t opened them yet but they have Vivid Voltage in front and probably today I’ll open them to see what they consider a mystery foil card
I bought 4 of these today, pricey but that extra Holo card kinda makes it worth it. I didn't get anything really good. A Moltrese V and a Celebration 25th Holo Pikachu. 1 other Holo and a few RH.
I have bought from those randomly assorted packs, there were like 30 card for 5-6 bucks. I did it because I couldn't afford real packs back then but at least I was very happy.
Fortunately now I can purchase an ETB a month and I'm full of joy with that
I used to get these all the time as a kid because of card/per cost. Also they’re generally older cards so it was cool getting ruby/sapphire era cards during diamond/pearl. Sometimes I even got base
I’m gonna say Walgreens because they are usually slightly less scammy than cvs, but not by much 😂
That pokerev that messaged you is a fake don't trust him
@Prince Rocacorba I know I said that
At this moment im voting for Walgreens. It has so much things in storage love your Videos :)
I'm going to say Walgreens. I've found many different pokemon card items. Unique items but you could once in a while find a hidden gem at CVS such as the 2017 knockout collection packs 👌
I'm predicting Walgreens for sure. At least around here in Central Illinois. If our CVS has anything it's one or two packs.
Fellow 217?

Same here in texas, we usually have NO! packs!
I think it’s definitely gonna be walgreeens!!! They have some good stuff!! Thanks for the great content!!
Moral of story is too never buy Pokémon cards from either of these
You should do the ultimate shopping challenge where all the winners for previous videos go against each other I thank that would be awesome
I think Walgreens is definitely better in term of things they sold. Back in the days they sold the tins. I love you rev so much keep up the good work you make me happy every time I watch you.
they still sell tins
Yeah they may, I haven’t been there in a while
Walgreens can be random with selections
Walgreens is always my first choice. Bought Yu-Gi-Oh special edition box at a Walgreens in Baltimore. I pulled a Obelisk the tormentor and blue eyes alternative white dragon
there used to be those 20 card + 1 foil card blisters at toys r us ages ago. They would actually have prime cards from hgss as the foil which made them worth it. memories
Walgreens is usually alright. I have gotten tins, packs, two pack blisters, 3pack blisters, mystery boxes, theme decks all from Walgreens.
I feel like MJ Holdings (same maker as those 20 card packs) may have pulled those Mystery Boxes from shelves, I have not seen then in my Super Center Walmart in over a week... granted I have not seen anything new Pokemon in my Walmart since then either. They've stocked other Pokemon stuff though which is strange lol
Definitely voting for Walgreens on this one. Definitely have better selection and usually are more in stock but that’s just my opinion! Always look forward to your new videos, Rev!
I've actually never seen Pokemon cards at my CVS so I'm going with Walgreens!!
Awesome video of rev! Love these store comparisons. Amazing work!!!
Honestly since the start of the vid i thought wallgreens would be the winner, also Galarian Zapdos is pretty nice.
I found a Charizard G LV. X sealed tin at Walgreens when it came out. I saved it, and kept it sealed. It got beat up a bit, but still a cool $800+ tin to have. Might get it graded one day.
i pulled a charizard gx from the fairfield mystery packs but thats out of like 15 or so but what is good in those are the commons you can find alot of older bulk along with error cards and sometimes something special can find its way in
I didn’t even expect cvs to have cards. I’ll stay away from there but those energies were very cool if you ask me. Course, not worth it though at the end of the day
YOU DID IT!!! You’re the man, Rev. No doubt, hands down.. I think we should do a re-shoot of this battle. They stock on the weekends. So Sunday evening and Mondays are the best days!! Dang I should have told you this.

@@TmacPlushVideos Don’t expect everyone to believe in the Bible. 🤦🏻♂️
I'm going for Walgreens seeing as I have never heard of the other one! Good luck Rev!
Going with Walgreens on this one! Think both may be surprising, but Walgreens is going to come out with the heat in pulls!
Definetly Walgreens for the win, hopefully some good hits incoming 👀
I really think that Walgreens will take this easy, because I don’t think I have ever seen Pokémon cards at CVS. And if they do then there probably not that good. Anyway that’s just my opinion, and thx for the uploads! 😄
Of course Walgreens, I only was two times in America but the service from Walgreens was on point and they got everything I needed.
I think Walgreens is going to win cause it usually has a decent amount of Pokémon cards
It's probably already been said, but they usually keep most of the cards up front behind the counter, so you should always ask. At least that's the case here as they keep getting stolen. :/
I feel like Walgreens is gonna win..all the CVS in my area never have any Pokemon cards. Walgreens here always seem to have something for Pokemon even if it's not much.
They might have them behind the counter.
Right they might lie to you😃
Walgreens used to have the older Knockout Collection Boxes. Since I stopped seeing those they haven't had anything worth it.
I am definitely think Walgreens.
I go there quite often and always find great toys and Pokémon cords. I love your videos and openings. You have excellent content.
I’ll say walgreens because I’m not from America and I’ve only heard of that one hah 😆😉
I would honestly buy those 20 card repacks if they were 3$. They know those packs are bad and they can move them so much quicker and won't get much complaints from people if they lowered to 3$ in my honest opinion
the company that sends them uses a giant box that's way too big for the cards, and they rubber band a stack of blisters together. the cvs employee that stocked the shelf was too lazy to fully remove the rubber band.
the rubber band was on that pack bc that's how they're delivered, just rubber banded together. I used to work at cvs lol
As a former Walgreens employee, I feel the packs will be good. I’m rooting for Walgreens plus their employee discount good for saving on packs😂
I’m rooting for Walgreens when I went to CVS they didn’t have any, so I’m hoping Walgreens come through with the pulls. Keep making the great content, we all love you and keep going brother you are the GOAT. 💯 🔥
It's Walgreens for me that took the win. They have more assortment and they have that double pack blisters. Tho pricey they have better packs.
If I'm gonna be honest I have really big expectations for Walgreens so thats my guess.
It's so strange seeing pharmacies having Pokemon cards as this is not something in the UK 🤣🤣🤣 Congrats on the one big pull, that Zapdos is looking good!!!!
Writing this during the ad, that’s how quick I am! I’m going for Walgreens on this one
the cards that worth even for TCG is just ultra ball (eventhough we already can't use it because they have newer ultra ball in brilliant stars set)
Imagine getting those custom packs and the “foil” card is consistently garbage. Even if they put just Vs and GXs in there. Those cards can be $1-$3 they’d still have a profitable product.
Living on Maui, we can’t find any Pokémon cards at any of our stores. Been sold out or discontinued since ever 🤷♂️… nothing at Walmart, target , CVS, Walgreens.
Do you order Pokémon items?
Wish you luck dude
I love the store vs battles so existing
I pulled a solgaleo and Lunala gx out of my first pack of cosmic eclipse
I sometimes buy the Walgreens pack+random cards for 5$. Found some pretty bangin packs in my local one. Like cosmic n evolving skies
@@TmacPlushVideos didn’t ask
I think Walgreens because it just gives me a vibe. I mean yes they carry battle decks which are trash but still Walgreens just gives me a good feeling
We don’t have those stores in this town… we don’t even have a Walmart… If you want to go shopping you gotta go to 1 of the 2 towns next to us (one of them is just as empty. The other has stores though)
Lost it when you chucked those cards hahah 😆😆
Walgreens for sure they usually have a little bit of stock no one else does in my little area. I was actually surprised the other day I went to Wal-Mart out of town in the middle of nowhere and they had full stock of etbs and shining fate boxes
👆☝️Congratulations 🎊 🎊 👆☝️
☝️👆Claim your prize ☝️👆
Man, that was a rough one. Lol. Glad to know just how bad those blisters really are though.
They really are!! I was suckered into buying a couple bc of the ”+1 foil card”, but got the same thing, just holo energy
Rite aid is the best for Pokémon cards!
The mini portfolio products in Walgreens have Brilliant Stars packs in them
I’m going to vote for CVS here for sure. In my experience, CVS has had some insane packs (mainly for brilliant stars for me). My vote is for CVS
I think any mystery packs are better then Walmarts brand! I never seen amazing hits in them but that’s my opinion! Awesome video Rev! 💯
Shocking selection in both stores! Surely from that alone walgreens should win
always liked walgreens. I've had a couple good finds at walgreens
I think Walmart is going to win this battle! Nice vids man!
Walmart.....rlly
walmart is not in the battle
Oooops...😂😂😂😂🤣🤣😅😅
CVS is painful for prices so I'm definitely voting for Walgreens on this one.
Definitely going with Walgreens. Better product selections.
I think Walgreens has it!
I think Walgreens because it’s just a bigger store in all and you’re probably find more and it probably be less expensive
This is a difficult one to choose. I'm going to go with CVS for better selection.
My dad used to buy the assorted 20 card packs for me and my brother, i wouldnt buy them nowadays but back then me an my bro were so happy when we got them!
I think it's going to be Walgreens. I'm excited to see the pulls!
Walgreens for sure, CVS had so little selection, that zapdos pull was insane.
I agree with Justin Barwick basically because of the full art zapdos. :/
Pharmacy having pokemon card !!!😂😂😂
That was tough to watch 🥴 reminds me why I'll never touch those mystery packs
I know right absolute rip off 👍✌
Love this series. But I think he can do like a tournament so like if target won then it will go against another shop that won
Gunna say Walgreens, I've had good luck there before
Your actually also playing for the pin that adds 2 dollars each booster pack is 5 dollars so that makes up 12 for the blisters.
I think Walgreens, I’ve actually got some good pulls from Walgreens.
If I had to choose I would say Walgreens cause CVS is just not the store for me to get cards. Honestly I just go to Target cause there is a whole area of Pokémon packs in mine
Walgreens without a doubt theyve always been ahead on the pokemon game
Walgreens I think, both don't have a much of a selection but fingers crossed for the hits 🔥
My local Walgreens had zero so I went to CVS and the had the metal boxes with a foil card on front. I bought 5 of those random boxes with a foil card and the best card I got was a foil groudon 25 anniversary cards.
Never knew cvs had Pokémon cards
ive seen those random 20 card packs and thought they were sketchy from the packaging. even if something good was in there, theyre so loosely packed the edges are gonna be destroyed
Think it's unfair to count pulls as a part of grading each store... That's down to luck, not on the stores
The last time I went to Walgreens they litterly only had the things where you get a 60 card holder and one booster pack
Good luck! I'm gonna go with Walgreens cause I've had good luck there.
i think that walgreens is goin to win and ur a awesome pokemon youtuber
I reckon Walgreens, but I’m only at the 1:15 mark!
Ive had terrible luck at both but since I usually hit Walgreens that’s my vote!
I've opened those random assorted packs from walgreens and get disappointed everytime.but I have found some cool tins before so I'm voting for walgreens. Thanks for the video, Rev!
Walgreens will def win this! I don't think I have ever ever ever seen cards at cvs
I'm a Walgreens fan for just about everything. Tha KS for the nostalgia.
Walgreens because they have better Pokémon and better prices and I pulled a 400 hp card at Walgreens so Walgreens
Going for Walgreens for this one! Love your videos Rev, keep up the amazing content! 😁👏
I'm definitely going for Walgreens on this video .. now just gotta watch and find out
