Sir according to Ritzer , Auguste Comte used the word SOCIAL PHYSICS for sociology.

In book "Essential psychology" under topic positivism ,it says "emphasised upon using deductive approaches .
Whereas in book "Haralambos " under positivism it is mentioned inductive methodology.
You have also stated it is inductive.
So what is the right answer?

But Positivists use deductive analysis (2:07). Like Talcot Parsons' Action System theory, which tries to explain specific phenomenon through this grand theory. Sir, please clarify this. Thank you.
