Chevelle and Deftones are two bands that never ever disappoint. Chevelle has stayed consistent with their sound, maybe actually even getting heavier over the years. Deftones just keep evolving with each album and yet they stay just as dope as they were back in 98

SOAD are legendary amazingness but something about chevelle and seether are my all time favorites
It's amazing how this sounds like it could have released about 20 years ago and would likely have been a hit. Sound consistency, pure vocals, emotion and skill.... I miss music like this.

Yeah, this band, along with the likes of Seether, Halestorm, Bad Wolves, FFDP, Evenescence, Foo Fighters and Disturbed are the better bunches compared to pop bums like Kanye, Taylor Swift, or BTS(their songs are annoying). Rock bands deserve better attention, like ACDC, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Kiss, or whoever rock bands you prefer-level of attention. Pop music just don't have the feeling rock music has.

WE GET 13 TRACKS OF THIS QUALITY ON THE NEW ALBUM. UNREAL. I have listened to Chevelle since the WWN days. I have always been a little disappointed in the singles from every album after Vena Sera, but when the full albums have come out, I've never been disappointed. If this single is indicative to the level of the rest of the album, this will be the best album in chevelle's discography. I cannot express how good this song is. Pete's voice is in better shape than ever. It seems like he's pushed it to new heights with the trills, falsetto, etc. This song is so good. I cannot stop shaking. I cannot wait til March 5th. I am so glad they took time to get the album sorted out because this is high quality music. They are still perfecting their craft after +20 years. This song is absolutely insanely good. I am so happy.

I can list at least a few that don't blow, but what I have the biggest opposition to you about when it comes to underwhelming singles is calling door-to-door cannibals disappointing... That song is so freaking dope!

@@westsideaccord I respect yours too! The only single that I've liked a ton since Vena Sera's singles was Joyride (Omen). But the other singles were the worst song on their respective albums in my opinion, which isn't saying a lot considering that ALL of their albums would be in my top favorite 15 rock albums of all time

I figured out how to play the first riff it's the drop b and the fourth string hitting the frets: 9-10-9-10-9 with an open third string then going to 4-5-4-5-4 with an open third string

I'm 51 year old classic rock guy. kiss Van Halen AC DC Aerosmith are my bands. the only band I've liked and listen to over the last 20 years has been Chevelle.
Only band that doesn't keep producing the exact same sound on every album. Every album sounds different but they somehow stay true to themselves which is incredibly difficult to do. I can only think of Rush as another band off hand that had that ability.
Amazing how you can ask a Chevelle fan what their favorite album is and you can get a different answer so often
I am a 54 year old male and I have every album Chevelle has ever put out on a major label (everything except Point #1) and for as many great songs of theirs that are played on the radio, there are at least 5 other songs from each album that should be in regular rotation on rock stations. Such a great band!

First came across then with The Red through an ex way back when, instantly fell in love with their music and haven't looked back. Right from #1 all the way through they never disappoint and I can't see anyone taking their throne of favourite band of all time.

It took me 6 plays just worshiping the music and vocals before I realized that the lyrics are also great, and then another several plays to fully appreciate how well the song is structured, and then finally a few more plays to realize that the intensity and desperation in the vocals really do it for me.
