Ring of Honor (ROH) is a professional wrestling promotion recently acquired by Tony Khan, CEO of AEW, Chief Football Strategy Officer of the Jacksonville Jaguars and GM/Sporting Director of Fulham F.C. The acquisition, which was completed through an entity that is wholly-owned by Tony Khan, included ROH’s extensive video library dating back to 2002, brand assets, intellectual property, production equipment and more.
With more than 20 years of rich wrestling history, ROH has launched the careers of numerous AEW stars, including CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Hangman Page, Dr. Britt Baker, Adam Cole, Samoa Joe, among others. Additional members of the AEW roster have made their mark in ROH, including the late Brodie Lee, The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega, Scorpio Sky, ReDragon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly), Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta), Jay Lethal, Christopher Daniels, Matt Sydal, Mercedes Martinez, Serena Deeb, Frankie Kazarian, Keith Lee, Eddie Kingston, Evil Uno, QT Marshall, Danhausen, Lance Archer, Griff Garrison, Thunder Rosa, Wheeler Yuta, Luchasaurus, Orange Cassidy, Ethan Page, Austin Gunn, PAC, Kip Sabian, John Silver, Alex Reynolds, Jerry Lynn, BJ Whitmer, Ace Steel and Sonjay Dutt.
ROH’s current list of champions includes ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli, ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe, ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta, ROH World Tag Team Champions FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) and ROH Women’s World Champion Mercedes Martinez. Tony Khan’s purchase of ROH signifies a new chapter in the future of professional wrestling as AEW’s meteoric rise continues to draw the youngest-skewing wrestling audience on television. - Sport
"This will be a ladder match" * Jay Briscoe starts bleeding * ^^
Jay: the brother that bleeds alot
Mark: the brother that flys alot
Must be hard for Marty to talk about his dead friends like this
I feel bad for him....
What matches was talking about his dead friends ?
@@nixx8550 it’s a joke, I believe that when the person said they were dead he meant like out of ROH
Briscoe Brothers are the masters of Ladder War.
Damn the Hardys legit next day won the titles at Mania in another ladder match.
It still breaks my heart that El Generico died at such a young age he was awesome. 😉
Haa
Everyone knows he is helping orphans
@@tomasgouveia2277 Lol
@@tomasgouveia2277 yea in Mexico he even tweeted awhile ago
Damn those orphans!
4:27 The best victory made me excited and happy 😃
Ladder Wars I and II were the most brutal in my opinion.
The Truth has never been spoken so clearly. You are 1000% correct
Steen vs Genrico From Final Battle 2012: Doomsday, he gave him a package Piledriver off a ladder, onto two more, splitting one in half. I love final Battle 2012 #KillSteenKill
Saafir Holmes that spot will forever be remembered till the day we all die
@@theJaRRoOnE22 I was in the Hammerstein Ballroom that night on December 16th 2012 and a will never forget sitting there hearing that sickening crunch of a ladder splitting in half, ROH is personally the best wrestling on the planet
Saafir Holmes ROH is the heart & soul of pro wrestling in my opinion. There is so much history and memories in this company, from current big stars making their debut to building their stardom like AJ styles, somoa joe, Seth Rollins, cm punk, young bucks, etc. Or having guys like Eddie Guerrero & Christian cage helping Roh Get recognition. I feel as if a lot of us have a soft spot for the ccompany
There have been a few Ladder Wars but in my mind none will ever touch the very first Ladder War. MAN UP
I remember being in attendance for the Hardys vs Bucks match at supercard of honor 17 in Lakeland. Sucks this years couldn't happen
2:02 and 2:11 not only did those move been used on ROH but they’ve been used at WrestleMania 32 I think
7:51 the crowd reaction 🙆🏾♂️ 😂
Jay Briscoe vs. Adam Cole is number one to me. ☺️ Being there live in New Orleans was awesome!
Goddamn, that chairshot from Generico onto Mark' head and the sound it made as it bounced off his skull....jesus....
That Generico Vs Steen match was the first ROH match I ever watched. Ive been hooked since
There were some all time greats in this list. Love it! :)
0:30 Briscoes vs All Night Xpress
3:16 Briscoes vs Guerillas of Destiny
6:03 Jay Briscoe vs Adam Cole
7:19 Briscoes vs Steen and Generico
sometimes i think ROH just says "Fuck it no script....just beat the fuck outta each other"
ROH should upload all of these in full
ROH should definitely upload some of these!!
Briscoes v god is my fav and I think roh should have that one for the next throwback Thursday
Briscoes vs Guerillas of Destiny doesn't get talked about not enough. And Briscoes vs Steen and Generico looked Crazy. But everything the Pre-Beard Briscoes did in ROH was absolutely nuts.
Matt jacksons face when nick did that double Sault on one of the hardys on the outside
Ladder War six Lowell Mass I was there sitting ringside that was a dope match Christopher Daniels took some serious bumps
love ring of honor post more videos
Wow.. gave up on wrestling in the early 2000’s and have found out about ROH through AEW coming along. I missed out on so much talent and great wrestling through ROH.
WOOW I'm excited
Me too
0:16 I remeber seeing that live
Ring of Honor has done some insane and crazy s--t!!😯😯😯
El Generico+Kevin Steen Ladder War 4 is the shit🔥
I’m here checking out ROH content since they’re done😭
There not dead yet lol
How epic would it be if they uploaded all of these matches
When you see all the bumps Jeff Hardy takes its no wonder he keeps self medicating to the extreme!!
ROH was always the future
I don't know why but Generico and Sami zyan shares similar techniques 😁
Because Sami was Generico's greatest student.
That bc they tha same person
Amazing👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
This video says you can find all these matches on Honorclub. Can anyone explain then how to find Ladder War I from Man Up? Can’t find anything from 2007 or 2009 on the site.
Most of these matches are literally bloody
3:44 Look at Jay’s face.
Yes there’s a difference
I'm sorry but I disagree. The first ladder war between The Briscoes and Steenerico was a fucking brutal masterpice. So unprotected spots, the crowd reaction, the selling.
A Briscoe Shooting Star Press?!?!?!?!? WTF?!?!?!?!?
Kevi championship looks like
Where is the ladder at final battle 2018
And Bucks vs Hardys wasn’t a ladder war it was a regular ladder match
Yoo marty
What about the Briscoes vs American Wolves?
Yeah Eddie broke his damn arm and still fought his ass off.
@@johnbarton41 wrong one Eddie had a broken arm against Steen And Generico
Briscoes and American Wolves never had a ladder war either
@@gregsampsons9833 ah yes! That's the one! My memory ain't what it used to be!
@@tidesofsulfurcb It's cool
Young Bucks vs Hardys WASNT A LADDER WAR MATCH..all the ladder wars have been numbered and called ladder war..that was just a regular ladder match but a tremendous one
back when roh had balls
And the Young Bucks didn't once sell in that match
Why not?
So True
War what is it good for absolutely nothing.
I can't watch for ROH's Past vs Present show.
Steen & Zayne were much better then
Is this real ?
Hardy boys won
🤔
bruh
E
It's too bad every young ucks match is exactly the same. They are very talented but there matches are the same everytime.
I literally got man up a week ago, and no one cares get.
Fake wrestling??? NOT in ROH my friends
