- This is my first prop gun and it had to be the blaster from Blade Runner! It was incredibly fun to build, it might not be perfect but I still love it :P

Fantastic job, but the angle of the tube holding the green LED not matching with the barrel just drives my OCD through the roof! could have just straightened it up!

Iv just finished printing out the file and found there is a piece missing its the hammer plate that sits behind the receiver between the two thin panels.
Have you still got the original file looked on thingyvers and it's the same.
there's a model on thingiverse for that piece... I can't really find it now unfortunately, but in the remixes of the original model you'll find a piece that looks close enough (it's actually probably better)

oh wow, that's a good question. I don't really remember as I used 3 different left over resins. I'd say about 500ml + the handle
@@randommodeler WOW - That's a lot less than I thought. Great news. Also, any idea if my brand new Elegoo Mars Pro 2 will manage to print all the pieces? Not sure what the longest/biggest piece is???
@@mrg2904 I printed it in multiple plates on a small 5.5" printer. It took me about 3 full plates + 1 for the handle with clear resin. I don't think you'll have any issue with the mars pro 2. Just take your time, arrange the pieces carefully, in a couple of days you should have your blaster ready for sanding

they are M3, various sizes. The 3d model contains a BOM!

I have a lot of questions about the handle.
Is it a 3D print or a cast?
If it's a 3D print, what brand of resin did you use?
If you did the coloring yourself, can you tell me what dyes you used and in what proportions?
@@francoisthomas1845 Its just elegoo clear 3d print resin, tinted with orange alcohol ink in the vat, then given a heavy lacquer coat after curing. Can't remember the proportions, it was trial and error.
When I'm opening the STL files in FreeCAD, the measurements seem way to big. The SteyrFrame for example is over 30 cm long. Does anyone know where the problem is and how to solve this?
probably a problem with the units. do you have the software set to inches?

i can say i hate this gun . its a revolver mixed with a rifle chamber . like its nice and all with separate triggers but the barrel ... it should have 2 barrels one for the revolver and one for the big rifle cartridge
