    In this video I show how to replace just only the cracked glass on the Samsung Galaxy S9 cell phone. I show 3 how to remove the glass on 3 cracked cell phones. It does take some skill to do this with the right equipment, but for anyone out there that is interested in learning this, the competition for glass only repair on Samsung phones is very low. Almost non existent.

    Don't get all the complaints great video! For someone like me just trying to fix my phone not going into business, still valuable. The tool kit you have, I bought for $15 bucks when I successfullyrepairedmy back glass. I'll use my hot gun and some wire since I understand a regular freezer won't work. It will take at least twice as long without the fancy gear but it's doable! Wish me luck. 🤞

    And yes, 15 USD Glass - but you need to add the knowledge you had to accquire, and the rigth tools. I actually think 170 USD is a fair price for repairing it - maybe the phone no longer is worth it, but that's another story :)

I think this method is pretty solid for someone who has experience but there are SOOO many instances where the wrong twitch could turn that cracked glass into a completely shot display or a punctured battery and I dunno if you've ever seen what happens to Lithium when it's exposed to air. • @RichardMeza
      @RichardMeza  Před 3 lety +1

      Without frame. Since the display screen part is cheaper to buy. Also when you buy them that way, you dont have to match the color of the frames. Use the customers original frame to put the screen back in. That way you carry less in inventory but always have parts in stock. You will lose customers if you cannot fix their phones right there when they ask. They will go somewhere who has them in stock.

    Why are the screens you put in the freezer back in the frame, I thought you only left one of them in the frame?

    • @RichardMeza
      @RichardMeza  Před 4 lety

      I took all of them out of the frame, then put them back in the frame for glass freezer separation so when the glass comes off, the display screens just fall out of the frame easy. I show it right in the video. That way there is no struggling with original frame adhesive afterwards.
