Catherine could have been suffering from Crohn’s or UC and ended up needing bowel surgery. She may also be on post-op meds that she needs to adapt to. People just need to leave her alone! These diseases can be worsened by stress.

My mom had crohns and had to take steroids which caused face puffiness. It was a horrible side effect.
She's possibly having to take steroids post-op. That would make her face swell up. My face looked just like hers when I had to take prednisone.
I have friend who has been dealing with Crohn’s for 30 years. It has been an absolute roller coaster for her. Many surgeries to remove diseased intestine, and flare ups leave her bedridden in pain. It also takes a hit on your mental health. No fun at all.
Catherine is ill and should be left alone to heal. None of us need to know what’s up until she’s ready to share. She’s not the Queen, yet, and deserves privacy.
Dan is a great guest.

If you were her, young 42, the mother of three, wouldn't you have a lot of depression or concerns as a wife to your husband? It would change everything in your life! It would not just be a physical healing but an emotional and psychological adjustment as well. That would not be an easy thing to have to accept. Throw into the mix that you are considered a fashion and beauty icon. I have no idea if that is what her health crisis is, but it sounds like something that would involve that or something similar.
All of these news and media commentators are handling this in the worst of possible ways, adding to all kinds of speculation, demanding to know what her health crisis is, and trying to second guess what it could be or concluding it has to do with the state of her marriage. I doubt seriously she is comatose or already dead. What would the monarchy have to gain in a cover-up like that? They would gain nothing and would have everything to lose! A cover-up like that would be the end of the monarchy!

My daughter takes her toddler to a book reading time each week and it was so good to see babies and toddlers running around. When my husband and I were visiting Germany, we wondered into a street fair and there was the usual music, clowns, balloons, face painting and ice cream but there were no babies or children. It felt almost eerie. I went through the crowd actually looking for babies and children. Finally, I found one mother with a beautiful baby in a pram, people would stop and stare at the baby like they were seeing something unusual. Babies and children just make life more interesting and colorful. And a street fair isn't the same without them.

It was a planned surgery, bowel blockage is an emergency procedure, so I highly doubt that’s what it was
I think it was bowel surgery also. She could also be on steriods post-op. My face puffed up exactly the same way when I had to take prednisone.
I had bowel trouble for years and almost died had surgery in August and still recovering. It's likely something like that. GOD BLESS HER

I was wondering how much of what was discussed regarding Harry’s agenda does the King know about? Does someone brief him on Harry’s shenanigans or are they not allowed to. I mean this is going on for so long, at one point there should be consequences. Now Cathrine is being bullied during recuperating from major surgery. I can’t imagine how her family thinks about all this. There must be a way to shut these Montecito grifters down. They better hope that the King will be well for a long time because if William takes the throne things will change I’m sure and I can’t blame him.
