I think Whitaker finishes Khamzat in 2 rounds. Khamzat looked absolutely horrible against Kamaru, fresh off knee surgery on 11 days notice.
Rob is a way better striker than Kamaru and Kamaru beat Khamzat's ass on the feet.

@@sabjot602 he was hella injured against DDP but just never told anyone so cant really rely on thst. He fought romero who is an olympic level wrestler who is waaay better than khamzat and he couldnt hold rob down plus khamzat couldnt even hold down burns.
On Whittaker's podcast, he said they got him to accept by telling him it's 100% a number 1 contenders fight.
I think Whittaker has a good chance. Khamzat doesn't come in and roll over elite fighters. He struggles like a normal person would.

This is suppose to be a feeder fight for Chimaev to get to the belt, Whitaker just has the chance to upset. But if he got rocked and flailed by DDP then Dana expect Chimaev to beat him in spectacular fashion to build DDP vs Chimaev.
Strickland was robbed vs DDP should be given a immediate rematch but UFC and Dana White know DDP having the belt is the best thing for them to get Izzy back! Khamzat and Whittaker or whoever vs whoever may be named no.1 contender fight for the time being but everyone knows if izzy aggress to a DDP fight then that's who will be fighting for the belt!

I have a cousin who is the lead singer in a metal band, (Deftones) hence screaming is part of the culture and approximately 10 years into his career he damaged his vocal cords but a simple surgery or maybe it wasn't simple not quite sure but after the process was complete, he sings even better than before and that's a fact. People may be shocked if rob wins but I wouldn't be. He legit has a good chance on the feet.
The thing about khamzat is hes so good especially in training but when the lights are on hes not as good. Hes still better then most but he isnt the same it seems. He freezes slightly when fighting you can see him not letting his reactions happen. Like he's fighting it out of fear.
He's undefeated, and has only gone to a decision twice, against Usman and Burns. How is he "not that good"? He's passed every test he's been given. That doesn't mean Robert can't win, but your point loses credibility when you try to discredit Khamzat.
@theywouldnthavetocensormei9231 it hasn't been as easy as his team made out and the things he does to his trsining partners. Most of his twam has said he hasnt showed up as well on fight night as he could. He will get beaten one of these times just wait and see. It may be this one!!

His main coach said we haven't seen anything yet when we get to see him on his game hes special. Even his coach can't figure out how to fix it. Because there are times he's gotten in very bad situations that he supposedly normally wouldn't. He trains with the best so yeah.

You can’t really harp on Rob falling out of fights, the injuries were life threatening and he had 3 pull outs of paulo costa and not from his side. But this is the BIGGEST highest level fight so far of 2024, possible fight of the year candidate if it goes to plan, Rob beats Borz rd 4 TKO, DDP vs Rob in Sydney end of 2024
if strickland wanted a title shot he should of taken on one of these guys instead of crying online like his fans.

The same people who say Rob beat khamzat easily will call him washed if he loses after the fight. They have done it to everyone else.
UFC is trying to give Chimaev a easy run to the title with old and/or injured fighters. Problem is Chimaev still looks like trash against them even with the judges give him the fight. Rob will be Chimaevs first real test fighting someone old and past their prime but not clearly injured. Chimaev will probably lose
Rob looks slow as hell to me anymore, I think he’s looked terrible ever since that massive Izzy knockout.

I've been super pumped for EVERY Khamzat fight since seeing his debut. Say what you want about "fighting cans" but he, very obviously, stood out among the competition and I knew he was gonna go somewhere. Fast forward 3 more fights and nobody was even able to touch him. It wasn't until Burns that he actually met some opposition. Khamzat is a f*ckin animal 🐺

I’d say Usman, Izzy, Stipe, Conor, and Henry Cejudo are all much bigger locks to make the HoF than Whitaker but he’s for sure a HoF nonetheless
