I love llamas I work landscaping and there's a house I do in the country that has a llama named lightning. I bring him apples everytime and now he runs to the truck whenever we show up. He will sometimes scoff at me but never spit. He still scoffs but he lets me pet him. I love him and I never forget to bring his apple.
Llamas are not smarter than Alpacas, I've had both for for over 30 years. I dont know where people get this stuff. Dogs are smarter than llamas, horses are smarter than llamas. But if you wanted to train an alpaca to pack it would just as easy as with a llama.Everything you said about llama is true for Alpacas. Alpacas may not have been used for packing but they still need to be able to be handled so they could be shorn. A dare you to try and shear an alpaca that hasn't been handled and worked with. Llamas think fogs are dangerous to lambs, this is proof they are not very bright.
Tysm I love Llamas so much I’m planning on getting one in the future I have 34 toy llamas and I love them very much thank you for this information do you mind if you pin me?😮❤
thanks but, we have llamas and i knew all those. they are very cool, we are in need of more females. if you know anyone that is selling be nice to know.
I'm just being made to think about similarities with the other side of The Pacific Ocean, in types of big wildlife, and livestock and foods, basic staples, legumes, and even about paint pigments and tools, weapons. Even jewelry in type of metals and stones Then comes types of homes, dwellings, and then pyramids.
Meaning that indigenous peoples of The Americas, come from much more advanced peoples from extensively across the other side of The Pacific Ocean, than can possibly remember. Asians and Middle Easterners.

Are there wild Ilamas?
I am guessing there probably are, somewhere in South America.
I believe guanacos are the wild ancestor of the llama. There are no wild llamas - even in South America
Them Andes natives are based! They got some of the cutest farm animals in the planet! 🤣🤣🤣

So it’s unlikely llamas would make friends with dogs? 😞
Shucks! 😓
I am writing a children’s book and one of my characters is a llama. Is it true that llamas hum?
Very cool! I have never heard ours hum, but we only have one. I think they would be more likely to hum to each other.
Ok, good to know!!!
I worked with llamas & alpacas at my city zoo. In my experience, the humming is generally in response to feeling anxious about something.
can i buy the llama
I like llams!
I knew all of these facts

What do they mostly eat and how much?
They mostly eat grass and hay, just like sheep. It makes them easy to raise with sheep and much less expensive to feed than a dog.
@@ancestralevolution so vet care is minimal too?
@@analarson2920 Yes, we've done most things ourselves.
