    Nice video. Very useful info, mainly the one to make a specific way point a target. Very good for creating strike missions.

    hello just a small addition if you allow.if you have no waypoint in your ins during the takeoff it is absolutely necessary to make a markpoint so that the coordinates of the next waypoints are going well

    Reference the Waypoint slew 12:28 on. After I slew the waypoint as shown, when I actually fly towards it, it moves off the exact mark quite substantially which is a pain. I end up chasing the waypoint and it becomes very innacurate with time and have to constantly re slew it. I remember to select DATA at the end of the slew to store it, but it 'meanders about' when flying to it. Not good when you are trying to fly at night to a slewed position (no F10 map available). Anyone know where I am going wrong? Or is it buggy? Thanks in advance.

    Sorry Cap but you missed a step in the TDC slew portion of the video to slew the waypoint using TDC. After selecting "DATA" you must then press "Sensor Select Fwd" to enable INS to allow you to slew using TDC if its not already in INS of course.

    Hi, I got th problem that if I enter a way point and then designate it as a tarket to bomb it with GBU38s the bombs do not hit accurate because the LAT and Long get set up different as for example at 5:48 in your video. (you entered 49 but it sets 48). So is there a way exept optical sensors (DMT, TPOD) or the F10 CAS way to designate a target point via a waypoint like the F/A 18s PP mode with GBU38s?

    is there a way to slave the tgp to the DMT or the target waypoint, in order to drop GBUs?

    Hello, in the video you typed 92 for elevation and you said it was converted in meters (29). But after your HSI shows 29 Ft for the elevation. Is there a bug with elevation setting or display?

    anyone know what bind moves the cursor so you can adjust it over tanks?

    • @cutlass6332
      @cutlass6332 Před 5 lety

      Sensor select fwd to enable ins in display, then you slew using tdc slew binds.

    This is not working anymore, its either a bug or they changed how to do it, but whenever I try to add another waypoint I cant seem to add another waypoint, I do exactly as you said so lets say I have wayoint 0 and 1, I try adding waypoint 2 so I type 2 in the UDC and I press enter... nothing happens The UCD will return to W 1 and nothing happens, no * like in your example.
    Edit: I am able to edit w1 but cant add another..

    Coordinates are made up of latitudes and longitudes...not..."Northings" and "Eastings" ! Thanks for the video.

    • @CharlesDSmith-mv7zi
      @CharlesDSmith-mv7zi Před 4 lety +2

      In actuality, “northings” or “southings” are in fact your latitudes (above or below the equator), and “eastings” or “westings” your longitudes (east or west of the prime meridians). It tells you in a simpler way where you are, or where you’re going.
