How to clean/replace your IAC valve on a Kseries/replace throttle body

- Here's an important video for you guys! all the content here can teach you to either clean you IAC, replace it, or even replace your throttlebody as a whole. Hope you guys enjoy it.
Some important tools needed:
~ Coolant, and coolant bleeder funnel.
~ 10mm and 12mm 3/8th sockets with ratchet
~ 3in 3/8th extension
~ the gaskets youll be replacing when youre down inside the engine bay. part numbers are displayed for a K20Z1 engine in the first 2 min of the video.
Today I get to install a new throttle body gasket, clean the IACV, and install a new engine air intake. Car should be running beautifully.
Keep the content up! Loving it.

Thanks for the upload. I was able to snag 3 spoon DC5 Type R throttle bodies and an FD2 Type R Spoon Throttle Body for my FD5 CSX Type S before they got the “ax” discontinued.😢
My RSX Type S K20A2 was doing the messed up idle thing so hopefully this solves it.
Btw what is that red bottle thing and does it have brake clean in it?

How did you get the pops from your exhaust? Tuner or no cats?
those screws philips cant get loose.
My base 5 speed suddenly revs at 2k rpm today. I got 197k. I’m thinking my iacv is stuck lol.

I had two idle issues in two different times. I solved them. First one, I cleaned the throttle body sensors with CRC electrical cleaner. Dust can create resistance causing idle issue. Second, bad idle air assist valve will cause rpm to go up and down when driving. I fixed this by putting bolt on a hose and covering up the hole on the intake manifold with a rubber cap.
