Are you tempted to give Next a go?
I'm I have intermediate understanding of next.js building one app with it.
same as what I am doing.. just expand ,.. tools should not be a barrier.
Absolutely love the direction!
Appreciate it
This is very interesting, as someone who is learning code to get the most out of webflow while using code, i was wondering if there was anyway of using APIs and other backend stuff to integrate inside webflow using Node.js, as i said i'm very amateur, so maybe this question doesn't make much sense, but i would like to find a more direct and cheaper way than Zapier to solve these types of integrations and i think you are the man to teach that 🧐
Next is perfect for this. You can make public API’s that in turn make calls to your database. Whether that be to write or read data.
its API functionality might be another quick taster vid to make for you
@@webflowandcode I would love to learn more practical uses for this, i think including code into webflow allows for saving money on subscriptions like Zapier and such which is a great selling point for customers.
Feel free to build from this starter tutorial into more complex stuff i think it would be very useful, lastly, keep up the great content 🙏
After 1 year of doing Wized - I’m like “Why the heck am I still using Wized?” 😅
To me (as a developer) these sorts of bolt ons/libraries just make the process slower and unscalable. There are better tools for the job IMO
@@webflowandcode I have to agree 👍✨ Using someone’s “framework” limits you to their ideas ;-)
Considering the topic, any recs on a headless CMS to put it all together?
Payload CMS or for simple projects Keystatic CMS
Not really. To me they are all one and the same. Prismic was nice and cheap. Contentful is the de facto but I don’t have any specific recommendations. Will build on this series with that in mind
I have only recently started learning coding. while I'm solving level 8 puzzles on codewars, I have plans to learn React. and what kind of React components does Webflow give out? Can I work with them?
Look into DevLink - this is the next NextJs video I plan to make.
@@webflowandcode I will be waiting, thank you
