I do seem to catch more Epics and Rare ones on multiplayer too... But now I'm stuck trying to catch a Sea Bass in the journey 😆 Do you have any pointers?
Hay just wondering, I live in Nova Scotia Canada, do you think they will add any Canadian fishing locations. We have some amazing places here both fresh and salt water . I would absolutely love to visit all of them.
Unfortunately, they have no plans for any more DLC content. They have switched focus to a new game.

I have a question for you if I am trying to make points for the leader board what is the best way to get the most points? Should I keep the fish or release them if I’m already maxed out on experience and money.
Leaderboard points are separate from experience points. It doesn't matter if you keep it. You will get the same points just for catching it. Look for the point value in yellow at the bottom to see how much the fish is worth. The best technique is to target med size fish that you can bring in faster. A larger fish can yield more points but takes much longer to bring in. You can bring in multiple medium fish in the same amount of time as the larger fish. I also recommend freshwater for attempting your first leaderboard. Prepare to fish about 8-10 hours a day to make the top 3. You can probably hit top 100 at 5 hours a day. Saltwater 12 or more hours a day for top 3.

Yup, I did the fish buffet (catch and release) for all 15 uniques (targeting green fish on top with a lure)....sometimes it took up to 10 mins or so before the unique landed but eventually it did.
