Java 8 lets you define method body for interfaces - so can include implementation. Oh haha, someone beat me to it. Was always told what you said, and then when I looked at some Java code I was so confused at first. And then I looked it up.
The way I always answered this question is that you can only extend one abstract class, but you can implement multiple interfaces.

Thanks man. But concerning interfaces, from java 8 it can include implementation (default and static methods)
we really do take things like retrofit for granted lol

You can't avoid it, you can only expect weirdness when testing on it
