Woke Want to Destroy Indigenous English Pride by ERASING Anglo-Saxon & Declaring it Racist

  • Cambridge University is erasing the word ANGLO-SAXON from its famous Anglo-Saxon journal and, in attempt to promote "anti-racist" and "anti-Nationalist" teaching, it is also teaching students that Anglo-Saxons are not an ethnic group. It claims to be doing this in order to show that there is no such thing as an English, Scottish or Welsh identity.
Historian and broadcaster Rafe Heydel-Mankoo condemns this blatant attack on English and British identity, culture and pride. Impossible to imagine any other indigenous people having their identity erased in such a manner.

ironically the Saxons were NOT indigenous came to England for about thirty or forty years in small boats and then when in big enough numbers they are thought to have massacred the local population in East England..
then the Danes did the same thing after we let our defences run down again
      ----
also you guys attack trans people a lot in your thinking on the new culture forum But You're attacking the wrong people when you attack trans people.. they could help you get the left on your side if you all see that freedom of thought And homosexuality/lgbt etc is something that Sharia laws do NOT tolerate and they attack people just for being trans or gay etc. it's written in the koran that they are to kill gays... so it's a big miss if you are going to attack lgbt when they could be the key to getting the left on side with your aims
i thought we valued protecting freedom, not religously condemning people for wanting to live free lives

There was no big Anglo Saxon migration into Highlands, isles, west, north east or deep into the country it was mostly south east coastal areas around Edinburgh etc. Anglo Saxon heritage needs to be protected but so does our Celtic heritage too and the erasure of either identity is ethnic erasure of a native people.

Either way, those are my tribes. That's why an immigrant from, say, Pakistan can become British, but he can never become English. That is not his tribe. In the same sense, I could move to Zululand, but I could never become Zulu. And don't get me started on the Jutes. There are a couple of Jute families down the road from me. Those people are not quite right. Even worse are that Norman bunch. I am still furious over the Norman Conquest. We've never received so much as a brass farthing in reparations. Makes my blood boil.

Why don't you actually read some history? What is now England was NOT the "land of the Angles," it was split between the Angles in Mercia and Northumbria, the Saxons in Wessex and along the south coast and nearby (the names Sussex and Essex speak for themselves), and the Jutes in Kent. There were also Frisian settlements here and there on the east coast. (The Frisian language remains the closest language to English.) All these folk were closely related, and their languages were VERY similar. England is called England and not Saxonia or some such because the majority of the land was claimed by the Angles, not the Saxons. But it was the Saxon kings of Wessex who united the Germanic kingdoms into one country. The Saxon Alfred the Great saved England from being totally taken over by the Danes. Needless to say, not all Angles and Saxons emigrated to the western island: many of their descendents still live in northwestern Germany, the northern Netherlands, and southern Denmark.

      Yes, no more prejudice!
People have differences from individuals to language groups. If you're born here, you're native. If your ethnicity is your 'nationality', you're indigenous....
(Hopefully it's obvious that that's with no disrespect to multiracial or migrant people, I'm not laying out a hierarchy of 'belongs' here)
      You know,
I want the indigenous people of Australia to have an exalted voice for what goes on, unfortunately the non indigenous voices out number and hold the ultimate decision. Surely that's wrong. Surely democracy had been used against them. Mind you, in the legal world Aboriginal people have only been Australian citizens for around sixty years and were classed as fauna. Democracy has never really been fair.

He married his second wife after coming to England in the 1930s. She was very much an English working girl and then I was born. Not only do I happily call myself a "genuine Anglo-Saxon" but also a healthy "mongrel" - somewhat proved as I turn 80 today! Keep up the good work!
