Holy shit! Where have I been?! I fuckin' LOVE Megadeth and I MISSED this awesome song!! My God this song was POWERFUL!And it's SO poignant ESPECIALLY today with this Godforsaken, horrific Opioid epidemic destroying more lives than it ever has before! I lost a cousin to Opioids...just last year. I even helped raise him from a baby. He got hooked on fuckin' painkillers because of an injury and later couldn't get em anymore. Y'all know the rest of this familiar story. It's my personal opinion that pharmaceutical Opioids should just be completely banned throughout the world! What good have they done?! Now look, I'm realistic and I know that banning Opioids won't stop people from using this poison illegally, but I KNOW that at least getting rid of the GODDAMN PILLS, will save some lives!! And, btw, I also believe that if the US Federal Government would get off their asses and COMPLETELY legalize Cannabis a HELLUVA lot of this Opioid chrisis would change for the better! One last thing, to those who are suffering from Opioids, be it your own addiction, suffering WITH someone and PRAYING they'll come out of it alive, or to those of you who have lost loved ones or friends to this poison, my heart genuinely bleeds with you! Now I don't mean to get all churchy on ya, Hell, I don't even do religion, but I DO believe in my own way, and I pray that God takes ALL of you in his arms, holds you close and gives you hope, strength and his purest love! AMEN
