Zehnder Q Mid Sensor Remove and Replace

  • Sometimes a mid sensor goes bad and needs replaced. It senses the fan speed and pressure. Although not common, here's a reminder on how to do it if we have to do it again.

    Acc to Zehnder the sensor is not broken quite often. You just have to clean it. I tried to blow out the differencial pressure sensor with the 2 nozzles with my mouth but it didn't work. Than I took a bicycle pump with a small nozzle for a football. I put it 1cm in front of the 2 nozzles. It worked fine and it's running without any issue for 2 weeks now. Before the sensor didn't work correctly.

    It is worth setting the machine to service mode before doing anything, so that it does not get stuck when the bypass is removed.

      clarify eha..? Q units have a mid-sensor and an upper sensor.
