- Finally got into some good walleye on the Saginaw River. Seems like Michigan can not let go of winter but a little snow won't stop us from getting out and finding the EYES!!!

Alot of big walleye in the river right now, Friday i got 2 fish over 7lbs in 5 minutes in the same hole ill be fishing tomorrow. Plus another 12 keepers around 17" had my limit in a few hours ans kept upgrading, north wind wasn't fun, but south wind and 70 degrees tomorrow shouldn't be so bad

My son and I were watching your video and he said to me that's where I was just fishing, I bet there in 5'of water and then you said you were in 5.8' and we laughed. Next you pulled up those jigs and he said that's my jig. We watched it several times and are 99%sure it was, because we make all of our own jigs and that was the color and plastic and stinger hook he was using. Then we really laughed. What are the odds. Tight Lines.

Where did you guys launch at the Saginaw river is 30 miles long was it in Saginaw or Bay City or north of that???
We were going to launch at bay city but we decided last minute to launch from Rust boat launch in Saginaw.

Do they stay in the river year-round or do push out to the bay during the hot summer days? Thanks for the entertaining video.
Most of the big ones move back to the bay...but there are always eyes in the system it's just a lot harder to find good fish in the river in the summer.
Never seen anyone put the stinger on last, always the minnow.
I find that it keeps the minnow on the hook better and they don't come off.
