Haha well actually the original version is already a freestyle song even the beat that's in the original is considered more 80s freestyle, yea this song is put in and labeled under as other music genres and not on a particular category when being mentioned by some djs. Some just say this song is more pop dance due to the singer Taylor dane..Dane.. was like a pop rnb mainstream type artist who just happened to have a very much freestyle type of sounding main pop hit with this one..To me I consider the original a definite freestyle classic, i understand why some don't classify it ad a stans alone freestyle song, but I disagree with them who call it a different genre of dance, I mean if u just listen to the original version, how can u not hear the spot on freestyle rythym and drumbeat being played right under Taylor's strong vocal power, it even has that sweet sensation , expose type of groove that was freestyle back at the time that tell it to my heart was released same time period mid to late 80s
