    I think this interview goes a long way in showing of caring, intelligent and in touch Charles actually is with common people. I like how he refers to "duty" as an old fashioned word. Something so few people (royal- or not) just don't have a feeling for. I hope his sons will have the same sense of Duty to make real change in lives of people in England as well as the Commonwealth. Great to see CBC and George S. do such a relaxed, candid interview. Hopefully one with William & Harry down the road.

      Yeah, I was watching a video on what Prince Charles did for the Dumfries House and sustainability. It seems like when he does take the Throne, he'll have an awareness of the real issues of his subjects.

      @charleswatson1093 Před 4 lety +17

      @@tiffanysanchez9184 Despite the efforts of ardent Dianaphiles to prove the contrary, there’s no evidence that Prince Charles and Camilla met privately between his marriage to Diana Spencer and the irretrievable breakdown of their marriage due to incompatibility.
      Prince Charles has never publicly said a word against her. He tried to induce her to seek help, but she refused. I'm not a hater of Diana; I just feel very sorry for her.
      On the other hand, I feel that her lies have caused a totally undeserved hatred for Prince Charles and his wife. It's not a matter of taking sides or apportioning blame, but of understanding the problem. I believe that Prince William once said that his mother had "never really grown up", but I cannot quote chapter and verse. It is perhaps significant that both Princes have numbered mental health organisations amongst their charities.
      The whole story of Camilla ruining Charles and Diana's marriage and the "three in the marriage" stuff was an invention of Diana's. Her unhappy childhood and refusal to accept her parents' break up had caused her to have psychological problems which manifested themselves in a number of ways, which included self-harming, acts of violence (she once pushed her stepmother down a flight of stairs), self-justification, fits of vindictive rage based on senseless jealousy and untruthfulness. She did a notorious television interview, ostensibly "of-the cuff" but in fact carefully scripted and rehearsed, in which she said many things about Prince Charles and the Royal Family in general, most of which were hurtful and untrue.
      It’s interesting that people who know the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall personally are generally very positive in their opinions of them, whereas the vast majority who profess affection or love for Diana Spencer never actually knew her.

      MrFinnboy69 The Royal family needed the fine Spencer bloodline with more true Royal English bloodlines than the Windsor's. Sadly, the Windsor bloodline was somewhat polluted with such dreadfully poor genes historically found in the Windsor family (this was made considerably worse by the Queen Mother who had FIVE cousins detained for their lifetimes in mental institutions each certified as a retarded imbecile (inbreeding!). Disturbingly, Prince Philips psychotic deranged mother was also committed to a mental Institution, she died after decades of incarceration being permitted to spend her last two years locked in a secure room at Buckingham Palace. Camilla was totally, totally unsuitable due to being an impure whore (apparently riddled with numerous STD's having been a prostitute since a girl) together with her worthless maternal family of whores having documented congenital syphilis! Furthermore, The Queen and Prince Philip are cousin's too so perhaps it's understandable that Charles is mentally challenged and inbred - wanting to be his whores TAMPAX and talking to plants! Frankly Charles should have been aborted - soon he will hopefully be blown up together with his whore by terrorists.

What I find the most impressing, is his ability to see the mistakes that have been made, including those that's rooted in his upbringing, witch was based on a completely different ideal what royal behavior is concerned. This became particularly apparent after Princess Diana's death, where he stepped up, and broke with the royal way of parenting that had been applying for centuries, as well as he actually owned up to the causes of his failed marriage. That would take a solid set of balls for anyone, not to mention for the future head of the British throne!..

      +David Stewart Sadly, EVERYBODY knows Charles is totally unfit to be king - admitting multiple adultery on national television, talking to plants and stating he wants to be a whores 'Tampax' during a telephone conversation on an insecure line that went viral. Charles needs to learn very quickly indeed to keep his foolish opinions to himself and try to act in a similar way to HM the Queen and his grandmother who have demonstrated absolutely exemplary service to this country and have NEVER said a word out of place. Hopefully, to save the institution of monarchy, the Queen will live longer than her dear mother and the crown will pass directly to William.

    • @david-stewart
      @david-stewart Před 8 lety +8

      margarethex Your insistence on an emotionally repressed and 'perfect' king or queen is the kind of approach that would lead to the monarchy's demise. Contemporary Britain is finished with deified leaders. People want a monarch who they recognise as a human being, and, yes, humans have affairs, fall short in their private life, and possess opinions.
      Your belief that the Queen has never put a foot wrong cannot be true for her or any living person. Charles' misfortune is that he came of age at a time when the media was more confident is exposing the royals. Had the Queen been treated with the same exposure you wouldn't be hold her now as some kind of saint.
      Charles will have to curtail his outspoken nature for the sake of impartiality as king but his all-too-human past has endeared him to the public more than it has harmed their belief in him as a future king.

      David Stewart The Queen and the Royals are at their most popular for 20 years BUT CHARLES AND CAMILLA ARE SOMEWHAT SIDELINED AND UNPOPULAR! Recently, the Daily Express revealed William the most popular royal with an approval rating of over 62 per cent. Charles’s approval is far worse - an abysmal only 21 per cent while his UGLY VULGAR UNCOUTH ILLEGAL ‘WIFE’/WHORE CAMILLA POLLED LESS THAN TWO PER CENT! A VERY LARGE MAJORITY OF BRITONS want to see the throne skip a generation as inbred idiot Charles has demonstrated his total unsuitability

    People make mistakes and change amid the catastrophe. He left Diana sometime ago, but I guess he now deplored it. I can see now his charisma as the future King of Canada and his love for the country. When Harry was sent to Afghan, he worried day and night which proved his love for his son. Remember, to err is human. To forgive, divine..
