Both footgae are great. And that the great thing. The S5 can be used as a secondary camera with the S5ii/x as the main. Can get a second hand S5 for a good price now. Will be very interesting in the next few years. As when the demend for the S5iii starts Lumix will bring it out. There will be a time where someone can a top camera now for less then 1k.

Thing I have notice is that most camera CZcamsrs always will get the newest camera so they can do a review of it. They never fully use the camera they have . They just buy cameras to reviews it and that's it lol

Hand the average camera user a camera from the 90s or a film camera that has no LCD screen and have to have a light meter to get the exposure right they would quickly put the camera down. My first camera was the G7. I made sure I mastered it so when I got the G85 then the GH5 now the S5ii I know the inss an out of the cameras. I once heard that Lumix cameras are made by filmmakers for vidoes makers. Hence why to this day there camera's have built in waveforms and vectorscops and the brands like Sony or Canon don't.
