My jaw dropped when you walked into the hardscape room. You are so lucky to have that much selection readily available
Unimati is the absolute best fish store in Scandinavia. Here in Denmark people rather travel from the opposite part of the country to buy their fish and aquariums at Unimati instead of going to the local store. And the reason for that is simple. Ole and the other guys are top professionals and will always provide you with every little detail you need to know when setting up a certain aquarium or when adding a certain fish to you aquarium.
I almost forgot to mention, when you took us viewers through to the back I was impressed by how well organized the Hardscape Section is it looked fantastic.
At First I thought you went from a Fish Store straight into a Museum. Absolutely Amazing.

I only found it on the Danish website in the description. Under RockZolid. Very expensive around $1200 US. Wish they had those here. Might be better off attempting to make your own though. Let me know if anyone finds a seller in U.S.

Be careful, the British (Imperial) gallon is not the same as the US gallon.
Now I have worked in aquarium store and I got to say if we had something like this in the states it would hit a homerun!

I love this store! It's a 4 hour drive from where I live, and yet I still go there to browse on weekends. Super fun and helpful staff as well.

Stephen Scapes There are some. Aquarium Design Store in Houston has a huge selection. What was really cool is that they also have plastic panels you can put into a large sandbox to match the dimensions of your tank at home and use that to plan out your hardscape. If you ever check it out just know that customers are allowed into their warehouse in the back as well filled with even more hardscape.

I like the red hooks. Back in the 70s I had silver dollars and Angelfish. I also like hatchet fish. I'm too old and my health is poor to have fish. Watching these videos is the next best thing.

I was one of the Unimati stores when I visited Denmark in 2019. I was simply blown away by the sheer variety of livestock and hardscape.
This store is so clean. And i think Ole created exact natural habitat for his favorite fish the Sri Lankan Tiger Loach. They can be found in water stream around my village with very sandy substrate with some plants like vallisneria.
This store is awesome, I could spend hours here...
Great tour George! Love the place! Being a big Cichlid fan, I just loved all the different kinds the place had. The tanks are amazing considering no filters cleaned or gravel cleaned! I could spend hours in there between the fish tanks, hardscapes and accessories! Thank you again George for showing us this awesome place! Never Forget Nimrod! RIP!

I've always liked the root back grounds but have been put off because of the story's of detritus build up behind them but the idea of turning it into the filter is genius, I'll definitely be doing this for my dream discus tank when I move house and I think a trip to this store will be in order

One of the best fish shops I’ve seen
How funny things have improved..about 15-20 years ago I bought 4 panels of plastic molded background painted like the rock in the video. Well,in just a few weeks,all that paint and highlighting was removed by a few big Plecos I had. They were painted..but not coated and I'm not even sure they used real waterproof paint. I still use them..only instead of looking like sandstone or granite,they look like limestone,white..with dark areas that stayed dark for whatever reason,helping the 3-d effect.

Its such a great store. I live about 40minutes away, and there is local fishstores here - but when possible I would allways pick Unimati.
They have everything you need and alot of things you didnt know you needed 😆👌 Its an expensive place to visit but only because you leave with much more than you had planned 🤗
Amazing wood selection. I read that Azalea roots are actually what we call spider-wood for aquariums....planning to buy dead or dying Azaleas from my local big box stores and landscape stores and see if I can't clean and dry a nice selection of interesting wood for tanks.

I used to have rock backgrounds in my tanks. They were expensive but worth it.
What an amazing shop. Not only does owner love his job & hobby...he shares the knowledge. Other than 2 Local Fish/Reptile shops, only big box in my area of Cali. And with the exception of the one shop who is predominantly a reptile based shop, nothing like this exists in my area. Such a pleasure to watch. Thanks George!

This store is absolutely phenomenal! WOW! I even went so far as to map it compared to where my mom and I are supposed to be staying when we finally can get to Germany. (Were supposed to go May 9-23rd but at least one spot closed through end of May so fingers crossed we can slide everything to June or September instead) ..... sadly it appears to be an 8 hour drive one way. Guess we'll have to plan a special trip for another year. Lol

Really good George for a simple fish shop visit video. Wish I had seen this before setting up my tank - really fancy the RockZolid background with internal filtration system perhaps with CO2 diffusion and heater in the back void. I'm surprised Juwel aquariums haven't been beating a path to this business to commercially link up to offer a more aesthetically pleasing alternative to their corner internal filters. Lots of lovely healthy fish. Snakeskin barbs especially pleasing. Plants in the tank reminded me of shops of my childhood in the 1960s and 1970s
Juwel is smart. They make a small fortune from people bying and replace filter pads and sponges...

I have had Betta's for 20 plus years i just love them and you sir had my heart when I saw your Betta tanks full of beautiful girls together and the boys had there own spots in the tanks as well. all the pet stores here have them in small plastic bowls and it just breaks my heart which is why i have so so many. all your hard work to have those beautiful tanks is amazing . Ole and all the stuffs are very helpfull and have a lot of knowledge about fish.
The aquascaping section is new and has a lot of cool driftwoods, stones, soil etc. I love the scapers-dojo as well! My tank is a 62 by 36 what appeared at the end of the video.
I can recommend this place to visit from my hearts deepest corner!
