Instead of manually painting in the vertex colors, I highly recommend using the "Vertex Weight Proximity" Modifier as you'll have non-distructive control over the affect it has and can even animate the ring with the displacement following it around too.

This is a cool tutorial and much appreciate th follow through, however i'm unable to get past the blend mode section as this isnt present in my "settings" area. Any ideas?

what if alpha blend ruins the material you were using on your logo
for some reason i don't see the glow effect around my object. The emission is working but I do not see the glow. would i have to add volume to the world to see the glow?

Trying this on blender 3.5 but when i try to use the displacement tool on the mesh plane for the cloud effect nothing happens, its only changing the texture slightly but not the actual shape of the plane

Ooh i love this effect but sadly i cant export it as a svg file as i use Photoshop CS6 and it dont have a svg as a option.

@@kembamark4540 I mean the reveal animation.. If I extend the timeframe it will only extend the animation as a whole but the reveal animation is still short..
My only critique is that this is hard to follow while actively working - easy if you pause the video and then work. Think it would be helpful if you got rid of the language of "this guy" or "that guy". But overall great video - could just be a little more precise on language! Thanks!!
