I remember when this video came out and the movie Purple Rain. I can't remember who said it, but they said that Prince was the only man that could wear high heels, wear women's make up and still steal your girlfriend. I can remember being a teenage girl and just dreaming of riding on the back of his motorcycle with him. He was such a handsome guy, fantastic artist and a very underrated guitar player. I will always love his musical and style!💜💜💜

All that research made it hard to speak. I understand completely. Back to the music. When Doves Cry was so introspective, it was a song that kind of touched everyone. We all knew about his difficult home life, but then when he sings at you this forceful look inward. Very intense. Beautiful man, and beautiful soul.
My favorite Prince song and video. I was born the same year as Prince and Michael 1958. They were my soundtrack. Prince my favorite artist of all time 💜 Jayy I peeked over too the first time I saw it!
All the scenes are are from his movie Purple Rain. He made two more movies. Under the Cherry Moon and Graffiti Bridge.
Prince had a clothing line in the early 80s called purple gear. It was replicas of his stage and video costumes, and you could mix and match the pieces. I wore a replica of the jacket he is wearing down bye the lake in this video with one of the white ruffle shirts to my junior prom in 1984. The eights were awesome.
He is definitely sexy!! And what a great guitarist!! If you haven’t seen Purple Rain!! You’ll understand the video!! Great movie!! My daughter’s favorite til this day!! What a beautiful talented man!! RIP, you’ll be in our hearts forever!!❤️

The first time I saw Prince was on American Bandstand. He sang I Wanna Be Your Lover. He didn't say a word during his interview with Dick Clark and he didn't have too. Right then and there I knew this man was something special. Devastating loss to the music world!
I was 6 years old when this video & song came out. As soon as he came out of the tub was the day I fell in love with Prince!!!! Prince & Michael Jackson were my first loves. May they both RIP. 🕊️

Yes he was a Gemini, however he was cool and down to earth . He smiled at me all the time. Just so u know he looked even better in person. I was shocked to see he had hazel eyes. Please don't believe the lies you hear about him . He wasn't a drug addict. He was in server pain from which he needed relief to perform. Not many know , but Prince had at least 5 different charities. There are people with a place to live and food to eat because of Prince. He didn't tell anyone, because he believed acts of love need no attention, they just are. Im sorry to go on so long . I just had to tell u a bit more of him other than his music.#peaceandstaywild

I saw this coming. I’ve seen this video a bunch of times on MuchMusic back in the day and I was like, I wonder what her reaction is going to be to Prince rising naked from a bathtub and crawling across the floor? This was from his movie Purple Rain and was part of his few year period where he did his own version of psychedelic pop/rock. Raspberry Beret is in the same genre and inspired by the Beatles 1967 albums Sgt Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour, as well as the songs Strawberry Fields Forever and Penny Lane. But obviously, it’s more 80s. Now, you can go purify yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka.

Research. More extensive research has happen when watching the Purple Rain movie. Another cool reaction. Unfortunately the bath tub almost killed him. During the Purple rain tour, there was a three tier stage, each ten to twelve feet high. During rehearsal, the tub was on the top tier. It was nailed down, prince rose up a little, rhe tub went flying w prince inside, hit the second tier, first tier, to the floor. I think he had a scar on his face, bruised ribs, and other. He went to the hospital but did start the tour. They thought he died before the tour even started.

Funny thing, not so long ago in my youtube suggestion was a viedo were a bunch of teenagers reacted to several 80’s videos including this one. Some of the girls said something like " he’s good looking, but creepy". Well one can use a lot of adjectives to describe him, but I never expected " creepy" 😅
I think that the first time I saw him was around 1991, maybe the Cream or Sexy MF music video, I was 14 years old and I was partly amazed, partly amused, and 100% speechless.
46 years old me still agree with 14 years old me: gorgeous man with the most exquisite face and lovely eyes that I’ve ever seen.
Since you seem to do more and more ... research lately, I can only advise you to check the very short acoustic version of Cream. Not at all the same ambiance, but the smile, the laughter, the wit, the contact with the audience... will convince you that, yes, Prince Charming is not only a fairytale character 🥰
